Reviews

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 175.5/day in the week to Jul 15 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Settlers-like-relaxation.
Macht Spass.
gutes game
Nice little time killer.
Plays like? Settlers IV Settlers III Settlers II Newer Anno titles In general, very solid game with a number of different commodities and ascending tech levels with each unlocked new material. The game is very very slow, mostly due to slow walking speed of the carriers. You can speed it up to 5x speed which feels close to what you would have had in Settlers III. The whole production of materials and weapons is fairly well automated, but also gets confusing because of the many different types of weapons and armour that each different type of soldier uses. Warnings of fights and messages are usually of very low quality and not helpful. This needs to be improved.
Even though it's a positive review, it makes oh so sad... It's a fun game, but both "Settlers 6: Rise of an Empire" and "Settlers 7" are SO MUCH better in every way possible. The most important question to the developers is this: What happened to building walls and actually controlling your army?! What happened to the war machines like catapults and such?! What happened to being able to conquer other settlements?! All the enemy factions in this game are spread out in small camps... It's so annoying having to "guess" where to place guard towers, hoping that it will be within 10 meters of wherever the thieves/bandits/specters will be coming from. And the guards occupying the towers spread out and wander around, so if an enemy force come by, usually only 2-3 guards will actually be close enough to engage automatically, the rest is just loitering a few meters away in peaceful bliss. We can all agree that Settlers 8 was a total train wreck... Pioneers of Pagonia is better and much more fun. Unfortunately this game is closer to Settlers 8 than Settlers 7 or 6... :( I really don't want to recommend this game since compared to the old settlers games, it's horrible. But even so, I had fun playing through the story and some of the skirmish maps as well.
Nudna. Po prostu. Zrób to, a teraz zrób to, a teraz to... Bo musisz zbudować to żeby dostać tamto.
Missing a real multiplayer mode, because that is what we used to play on the old Settler games.
