For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
"Phil in the Mirror" focuses on the experience of uncovering mysteries through careful observation and reasoning amidst light tension. You must find 'anomalies' as you pass through corridors that look the same every time. However, the true challenge of this game does not end with simply finding the 'different picture'.
Anomalies are both a threat and the only opportunity to open a new path. Every clue depends on your observation and your insight to see through the nature of the phenomenon.
You start on the 9th floor. The corridor you pass through may seem the same every time, but it might not be. You must carefully observe your surroundings to find 'anomalies'.
If you find an anomaly, immediately turn back and get on the elevator you came from.
If there is nothing wrong, take the elevator at the end of the corridor to the next floor.
If you break the rules, you cannot go down to the next floor.
These simple rules will put you to the test. Your observation is your only means of survival.
Does it end with just finding a different picture? The anomalies here are not just 'different pictures', but hold the key to opening tightly closed doors. A ringing phone is not just a source of fear, but an invitation to a story, and rising water is both a crisis and an opportunity to bring forgotten clues to the surface. Grasp the meaning hidden beyond the surface of the phenomenon and use it to advance to a new space.
This building is not just an endless series of corridors. We call this unique experience 'Metroidbrainia'. The clues you decipher and the phenomena you face become the keys to unlocking completely different areas hidden in this space. The deeper you dig, the wider and deeper this world will unfold before you.
Every puzzle is deeply connected to the one great story that this building holds. All the scattered documents, and even the anomalies themselves, are intricately intertwined towards a single truth. Your reasoning will be the power to fit the last piece of this mystery.
In this questionable space, can you face the truth and find the real way out?

Good. Solid puzzle experience.
Fun take on the corridor anomaly genre which manages to up the ante with more to do than just strolling down a creepy hallway. The most recent update streamlines the early game nicely.
Very good anomaly / puzzle mystery game. It's not what you expect it to be, but it's amazing and it clicks really naturally.
This in an excelent game.
There are 2 parts. The first one, shorter, it's an anomaly hunting. The second one, the real game, it's a puzzle game. No idea why is not more well known. Completely underrated. If you like jumpscares, then DO NOT click this (this comment will ruin them):
There are only 2 jumpscares, if I remember correctly. One at the very beggining, and one a bit later, still during the first part of the game. The second one is a bit milder one, just a screem, nothing that can be seen. There's something that maybe can be consider a third one where you hear some knocking on a door, again nothing that can be seen. After that you are safe. Those scares where only to set the mood, nothing is going to jump on you after that.
IMPORTANT: Ray tracing is mandatory. Anyway, great game. I will keep my eyes open for more from this dev.
Phil in the Mirror is a clever blend of anomaly hunting and puzzling, frequently doing well in its endeavor to recontextualize its scares into satisfying payoffs as you uncover its narrative. Largely, it is successful, with its various puzzles often having clear logic or accompanied by nice Aha! moments. Some steps of its puzzles are more obtuse or much less narratively relevant, which unfortunately fall flat. I would say that its pacing is mostly spot on, though the moments of uncertainty do lead to a bit of banging head against the wall. Overall, it's quite successful in what it's trying to do and is rather smart in its mixing of the genres. As a short-to-mid-length game, it can be completed in a weekend and is definitely unique. I am 98% certain that the song that plays over the ending credits is AI generated. Everyone has an opinion on AI-generated music, and I agree with many that think that it's pretty gross, especially as a musician. It left a pretty unappealing stain on an otherwise good experience. I'm not going to drive down the review scores just for this, though. There's a lot to really enjoy with Phil in the Mirror, and I would still recommend it for fans of puzzle games.
Phil in the Mirror fait clairement partie de ceux-là.
Disclaimer, I'm only about halfway (I think?) through this game. The first act is actually a little scary, with startling anomaly hunting mechanics and an eerie looping environment, similar to The Exit 8. In the second act you begin to see the story unfold as you start discovering and solving puzzles to open up more areas of the floor - many of which require a closer look at the first act anomalies to solve. I'm really enjoying the twist from pure anomaly hunting to puzzle solving and find myself invested in how the story of Phil will unfold.
