Absolute cinema
My favorite writing of the year so far across all mediums.
this one is going to be sticking with me for a very long time. an incredible experience from beginning to end. thank you. (except the piano puzzle really should be skippable - as someone without any musical background, it completely halted my momentum and required me to look up a solution on the forum)
Lovely game and a almost painfully accurate depiction of that college freedom and doom of finding out about who you are as a creator, lover and friend.
Lovely story.
Game so good
as with its previous entry, a magnificent piece of art. the writing, the visual expressiveness of the art style, the willingness to be human and messy and angry and stupid (complimentary). more focused mechanically than its predecessor (good) but still not altogether without a few confusing elements (that damn apple) I was never going to love spending that much time ping-ponging between romantic trysts with annoying straight men, but it's understandable and correct for the story. it did make me miss the tacky and vibrant shores of a certain gay resort destination (simon we miss you) loved the family stuff. loved getting to know ro. loved the reading/writing elements. a joy of an experience overall, a privilege of a story to explore
