Reviews
Some odd design choices but no other game allow this level of terraforming and the scope of the process. Mars is truly gigantic.
really interesting take on city building and was a lot of fun! it was really nice to see Mars transform into a beautiful and lush world :)

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

NO SPOILERS: Very cool city builder. Looks visually stuning and you can see your impact on Mars very clearly. I basically played it in two sittings over 30 hours which is a proof that it has the "just one more crisis to solve" vibe proper citybuilders and 4X games should have. Feels inspired by Frostpunk and the similarity is meant as a flattery. PROS: Engagin gameplay. Visuals CONS: - In some areas the UI could improve. Its quite hard to go through and review some parts of your economy. For example knowing where are these or those types of mines / factories would be helpful, they are small icons on the map and are very hard to distinguish without staring for minutes on your screen. Being able to highlight them and manage them proper would help. - there is a building manager but its not as helpful as it could. - Some alerts that might be important are poorly shown to the player - you generally just get a warning sign and a text and the camera zooms... somewhere... but usually not where the warning originated. - The writing and dialogs are AWFUL and obnoxious. Thankfully you can skip through it. - The colonists are crybabies and want to yap to you about how they are feeling and how they are doing important work while all they do is doing research (which they could be doing on Earth since its in many cases not related to Mars specifically - like nuclear fusion). - Most of the characters behave like children - colonists like a kid who scraped his knee and now is throwing a tantrum over it. - Troy Baker (Amazing where you can find the guy) is playing Dr. Foster who is - if the name was not obvious enough - your father figure, but sounds mostly like AI obsessed lunatic. TINY SPOILERS: - A lot of people trust the AI implicitly giving it access to military capabilities at the slightest fear something might be wrong - and most of that information comes from the AI itself. Imagine ChatGPT potentially gaslighting you that the explosion that killed some of your friends was a sabotage and not an accident (potentially caused by the AI itself) and asking you to authorize it to spawn swarms of murderbots and what you say is: yeah sure that sounds great. - You play as an AI but you are treated as a person and think like a person, you/the AI is constantly worrying about things that it should not care at all about. - early on you can nuke the polar icecaps and the AI inexplicably is worrying about its effect. It should either unquestioningly obey orders or pragmatically assume its a good idea, there are very few cons to that plan Mars is radioactive already there is no really issue with fallout and such. The game tries to give you a lot of dialog choices with very little story impact that are meant to help your reflect. But it feels like a mentally ill person doing an excercise their therapist order them to do instead of an AI thinking. Overall the less the characters talk the better. Also while the game looks pretty I am a little spoiled by frostpunk and can see where the graphics could improve further. Sorry for the longwinded review - writing this after a 24 hour per aspera session and it shows.

JUEGAZO!!
