Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very enjoyable.
It's a fun game, I wish there were more planet to terraform!
I've been playing this since launch and it's been really fun watching its progression through development. It's come a long way since then and I'm still having fun with it. I want to say that it's one of those games that's easy to learn but difficult to master but we all know that there's going to be that one guy in the back that expects hand-holding the entire time lol. That said, the game DOES do a great job with easing you into the action, but for alot of it you have to figure things out on your own as you go along. It doesn't tell you what to research/build or when but it does give explanations everywhere in the form of tooltips and an in-game wiki if you need it. In the early beginning it teaches you some of the basics, but after that you're free to play how you see fit. Pure freedom, mostly. Mid to late game you'll find yourself waiting alot, once the water levels start rising...since during that stage of things you'll also find yourself demolishing and rebuilding alot as buildings get submerged (depending on your placement, of course). It doesn't exactly ruin the experience though in my opinion. There's so much more I could say about this game but I prefer to leave out any potential spoilers; however, overall, I highly recommend :) Even all the DLCs are worth owning since they do add definite substance. Personally, I'd easily rate it a solid 8.4 out of 10. I love that this game exists. P.S. Also, yes! It does use actual Mars topography and height maps. I don't know exactly how accurately true-to-life the weather and climate systems are but they're adequate and seem legit. Storms and other random events are well balanced in frequency/intensity as well (there's been alot of changes and tweaks to all of those over the years). They suck, like they should...but they don't rage-inducingly kill the fun :)
