great game buy it

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Absolutely impeccable style. Its controls can grate at first, but Penny takes platform controls back to the drawing board to innovate. It feels superb when it clicks.
i went into this game thinking it was just going to be another decent 3d indie platformer but i became enamored with penny's movement and how concise the level design is to compliment it. i constantly found myself hooked on the flow of soaring across the terrain with the yoyo. its something i really enjoyed about the game, especially the fact that its just as viable to slowly explore through the level and read npc dialogue than it is playing fast and speeding through everything. when i start a level i like to stroll through and see everything the area has to offer first and its nice that the game gives you the option to get the maximum score requirements this way as long as you keep a yoyo combo going whilst exploring. at first i really didnt like how the yoyo riding worked and felt that the turning was too rough, but i eventually came to enjoy how it functioned with the rest of penny's moveset. utilizing the yoyo ride as a way to bridge airborne yoyo tricks back and forth to keep a combo going all whilst naturally traversing through the level is the most satisfying skill to master and what made the game truly click for me ive heard of there being a lot of game breaking bugs, and while i did run into a few of my own bugs throughout my playthrough none of them were enough to completely ruin the experience for me. the worst i ever got was an incredibly loud audio glitch in one of the boss fights that lasted about 6 seconds. another thing i heard were complaints about the camera, and after finishing the game i really dont understand why this is even an issue? i can understand it being frustrating to not have full control of the camera in a 3d platformer but the camera pans correctly with the level so im barely ever hindered by not having full vision. i also think having a directional way to extend the yo-yo via the right analog stick is a good enough compromise. to me, penny's big breakaway is like a lovechild between sonic and kirby with just as much innate charm to stand on its own feet. it's vibrant art style and groovy soundtrack serve so much to the overall identity of the game. i will say this game does have a bit of jank, with a bug here and there, but underneath it all is a genuine shining gem of an experience.
Lovely game with excellent music. Penny's moveset is a lot of fun and the devs do a lot of creative things with it but nothing overstays it's welcome. There's clearly another level of skill to this game if you want all the score-gated postcards, but I am not that audience. The only negatives I can think of are the various collision bugs I experienced, with Penny or Yo-Yo clipping through the map a number of times. There are also some moving platforms that it seems you can just fall straight through, don't know what causes that. Not a huge deal, the game is pretty forgiving. I would recommend this game, but I will note that I got it on sale.
Unpolished overall, but has satisfying movement when it works right. As with many Sonic games before it, dealing with changing gravity results in a whole lot of jank, and this game is definitely full of some jank. Clipping through the floor, falling sideways into oblivion, falling infinitely without ever hitting a kill plane, it's all here. Other annoyances include a decoupling between audio on the opening splash screen and the rest of the audio settings, so the game is *always* too loud when booting up; an apparent disconnect between music volume setting in cutscenes vs while playing the game; inconsistent snapping of the yo-yo to objects or platforms; inconsistent rules for maintaining rolling speed; bizarre gameplay slowdown if you don't have your graphics settings tuned correctly (this actually almost made me quit right away before I fixed it, though I'm not sure what exactly fixed it). Also, the main character design is really odd. I guess she's some sort of... mouse thing? I don't know. Her design weirds me out and is not remotely cute or appealing as a platformer mascot. Same with the yo-yo dog thing. The busker bonus thing at the end of stages is a neat idea at first, but it really just gets tiring after a few levels. Found myself often just intentionally failing them to get them over with. Some of the bosses are neat but boring, while others are frustrating because of conveyance issues. All that said, the simultaneous variety *and* simplicity of the core moveset was the main draw of the game for me, and like I said, when it works, it feels great. Big recommend for fans of zippy movement, but be warned that it carries many of the core physics issues that plague this type of 3D platformer, and the lack of polish can be pretty frustrating.
+++ :-)
