Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 17 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

A phone call from a small, out of state police force was the last thing writer Penelope Pendrick was expecting that morning. But, it wasn't long after that she was boarding a flight to the quaint old town of Carlisle, Connecticut. When debriefed, Penelope learns her job is to join the search for three missing people; an older man who owns a local bookstore, a mysterious woman who keeps to herself, and a troublemaking teenage boy – the only common link between them being that they disappeared from the same town, within the same week. The Sergeant is stumped.
Once she begins to unravel the case, Penelope realizes that there’s something deeper – stranger – going on here. Unusual ties form between four deceptive suspects, each with something to gain and each with something to lose. Motives and suspicions weave in and out as Penelope uses her wits and penchant for rule-breaking to search for answers; some of which died with an eccentric and mysterious local artist fifty years ago. As the danger escalates, a timer begins to tick down on the lives of the missing. All that Penelope knows for sure is that there’s more to the town of Carlisle than it would appear, and that one wrong move could make this first case her last.

Adored this game. Great atmosphere, good characters and an accessible dev that cares about UX. Highly recommended for OG Nancy Drew fans who are missing the classic games - you will not be disappointed!
amazing game!! would recommend to anyone who is a fan of the nancy drew games!! looking forward to playing the next one!
The game has old Nancy Drew vibes. I enjoyed it as much as any Nancy Drew game even though at some points it was quite exhausting to look whether I spoke to everyone to unlock the next event or not. I would like more games of this style to be created.

Fantastic game! Reminds me of Nancy Drew games I would play as a kid. I can't wait for the next game to release, I will be buying it immediately! Keep up the fantastic work!
I really enjoyed this game! It definitely had elements that reminded me of my beloved Nancy Drew point-and-click mystery games, which was really fun. I have no idea how I would've solved the final puzzle without a walkthrough, but overall really enjoyed the games, the characters were interesting and there were plenty of moments of suspense! Highly recommend for other ND lovers :)
As a long-time fan of the Nancy Drew/Her Interactive universe, I've been searching for the point and click game that could finally scratch that itch. This is that game! Penelope is that girl! :) Fantastic play-through, great dialogue, excellent graphics and navigation, and fun puzzles. I can't wait for the next one to come out!
Incredible!! Didn't realize how much I've missed sitting back and solving a great mystery along with some puzzles. The plot was perfect and rounded out so nicely. Thank you to the team who brought this to life!
Loved this game! Felt very much like the old school Nancy Drew games. The puzzles were the perfect amount of difficulty, not too easy but also not impossible to figure out. The music and the atmosphere were fun, I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next in the series!
Growing up on Nancy Drew and it still being my comfort game I was really disappointed in the new games. Penelope Pendrick itched that scratch I didn't know I needed so much in my life again. Highly recommend if you were as obsessed with Nancy Drew as I was!
It feels difficult to not compare every point and click mystery game to the original Nancy Drew series, but this one truly felt so familiar to that. The voice acting and graphics were pretty well done and had very similar mechanics. I do feel that the flow of the game can be challenging to navigate as there are some very specific triggers that need to be met at times resulting in frequent visits to walk through guides or tips. Many of the puzzles had great clues leading up to them, but there were not many verbal prompts identifying when something was associated with another location or item. I did like that you could not just put in answers manually that were found through spoilers without having found the evidence first, but I would love to see a bit more of a hint system or verbal prompt added to help offer some direction. In the end, it was really a very well made and engaging game. It definitely scratched an itch that has been present for many years now. I highly recommend giving it a try if you are looking for a spiritual successor to Nancy Drew with a variety of challenging puzzles.
