Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 691/day in the week to Jul 17 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Release a game with no farming, no breakdown bench, craft 20 of each item in every craft skill to get 1-2 lvls then do what with 20-30 pickaxes? etc. amongst many other issues, bunch of good too, graphics, map sizes, etc but they fall short with many bads, Crafters pull from storage, and hot deposit too, basic, qol functions. No horses, travel mounts, husbandry, or even valheim cart wagon you can pull for storage. or pouches, bags, backpacks? All things games have these days that are basic.
Pax Dei is great for a while. Beautiful but somewhat shallow. It's building system is really good, early progression feels good but it gets very grindy very quick. It's designed around groups and guilds but even then it's still grindy as heck. The combat is still subpar, and frankly it's an MMO without mounts or meaningful territory control. After you build your house and are happy with the result there's not much else to do. Still enjoyable if you like grinding for proffessions or even combat. The reason why I'm giving a negative review to the game is because the development cycles are long and slow. And I just get the feeling that the devs are focusing on the small things instead of actually implementing good gameplay. Like Territory Control with meaningul Guild vs Guild, Mounts and Carriages to carry resources around and traverse the world faster, Roaming mobs, Hireable NPCs like companions or workers, area voice chat, more varied world locations with loot chests etc.. Like, things that could make the game overal more enjoyable.

before 1,0 i had several thousand hours in this game through the stand alone client etc.. it had potential and its one of the most beutiful games ive ever played.. after 1.0 i subbed for a bit , to support them and hope they made some traction .. its now a long time past.. and the game is still a skeleton .. that they charge a monthly subscription for i absolutely do not recommend anyone spends any money on this game beyond the upfront purchase. no subs etc . the devs killed the games population by being greedy and charging subs to people who spent alot up front for the plots pre 1.0 and they make no substantial updates while youre still paying . as i said beautiful game.. but that is all it has going for it ..
Only game in my library so far that causes the gpu to crash/restart. taking steam and discord down with it.
para meu pc batata nao rodou mais que 12 fps
I've enjoyed playing pax dei. However it's not a game for everyone. It's definitely for people that enjoy a grind, it's a great game for you if you played and enjoyed other sandbox mmo like Star Wars Galaxies. The game is far from finished and shouldn't be in 1.0. This game went from Alpha to Beta. 1.0 is still a ways away imo. I hope to see the game continue development, and everyone should try it out on the next free weekend event which no doubt there will be. At the moment there are definitely better games out there to play out there, however that shouldn't stop anyone from checking out this Early Access game
This game has lots of potential. Some poor design decisions were made, like removing the ability to block from one handed weapons, but we can hope someone competent takes over that decision making. Very relaxing game, lots of fun, very interesting, never a dull moment. 10/10 recommended unless more foolish decisions are made or they double down on heavy handed game systems design. Removing block just to force players to use sword and shield is terrible.
Очень приятная игра...
There are two adversarial camps here; those who really love the game and those who hate it. You can glimpse for yourself by viewing a few of the discussions. I belong in the middle. The game is mediocre but could and should be much better. Let us focus on the main glaring fact - this MMO has a very small player base. Maybe the peaks are at different times than my login periods, but weekdays have been 700-800 and weekends 1000-1100. That is not an MMO! Those are the stats of a dying game. Mainframe should have learned from Ashes of Creation that an extremely grindy game with lots of emptiness that you purchase and then enacts a monthly subscription to maintain your progress was going to upset lots of their players, yet they did it anyway. Besides that, combat is mediocre, the crafting is mediocre; all the weapons, equipment, and jewelry you craft to upgrade your professions can just be dropped on the ground. You can't destroy them, you can't sell them because everybody else also has 100 pilgrim helmets, so the only sane option is to scatter that trash all over. This is a complete mockery of your time used to gather all the materials in the first place; and building is downright abysmal. You would think as you construct a floor that the pieces would snap nicely into place but the game places your square every which way but the correct location - up in the air, on your foundation but not in the empty slot next to the floor tile you just placed. You will hear much about this being a social sandbox MMO rather than an MMORG. It is not. 95% percent of the clans contain 3 or fewer people. Nobody chats in the game. The only notifications announce players entering your territory. This is closest to a quicksand box RPG where the corpses of 90% of the pre-1.0 release players can be located settling to the bottom. Contrary to the rather negative review, I keep logging in every day and playing. This game has glaring issues that need to be addressed otherwise Mainframe will have no choice but to fire employees or repurpose their funds into something else. Then, the players who claim they love this game so much won't have anything left to cherish as this game follows Ashes of Creation and New World (before the year ends) into the dustbin. You cannot play a multiplayer game when the servers no longer function. My goal is not to turn people away. If you own the game, keep playing! I added another month's worth of grace tonight. If you don't but are interested, try the 7-day trial. The game will neither succeed nor fail from my review. The writing is already on the wall; substantive changes are needed soon or there won't be a game left to play. I just hope important people at Mainframe realize this and are ready to act.
