Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 691/day in the week to Jul 17 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game seems like a lot of fun, and I'm kinda enjoying my time with it. That being said, I would not recommend this game to anyone yet. Why? 1. The game launched some time ago, publishing its 1.0 version, but the game feels like it's still in early beta testing: - the world is huge, but there are no mounts to ride around (no, I don't wanna teleport all the time) - the animations are wonky - the attacks have very low impact and accuracy, making it hard to know when you will get hit or not - the building blocks/elements have weird placement styles, being very fiddly and hard to place correctly - the rotation of the blocks in not equal and differs from left to right by a few degrees (very annoying when building) - information about progression and development of character is scarce and weirdly placed (If u wanna craft something, you don't know where to look to find out what you need to do to achieve that) - when you enter the game, you need to ''praise the sun'' no matter what (you will always get blinded by the sun) - the sun in the game does not move smoothly, the new shadows just snap in place when the time passes (very immersion-breaking, especially when the game is built on vibes alone at this moment) - being in water drains stamina, and after that, health - there is no clear indication of where you find resources (there is a map divided by cool artwork, sadly, the legend representation is too small to distinguish anything on the big map) - you see cuts (the edge between world chunks or something) all over the map that brake emersion or block you from building a base where they are (because no one wants to see a random like that goes through the entire terrain in a game that is so beautiful) - there is no fishing 2. You need to pay a subscription because: - the plot you get is very small, allowing you to build only very tiny or cramped buildings - the game announces that a subscription is REQUIRED to play the game, so besides the box price, you need to pay another sum monthly to play - you will be forced to manually renew your base with in-game currency if you don't have a subscription, so if you are away from the game at the right time for more than 2 days(48h), your base is gone. 3. Progression is slow, largely because of your slow movement and lack of clear direction, so most people who have time to play only a few hours a month will feel like they make no progress at all. 4. There are way better games that have a similar vibe but play way better (I think the visuals are the only thing this game does better than the rest) Is this game fun? Not really, but it's enjoyable. If you are looking for a long grind and having long-term goals in a game that only forces you to pay a sum of money once per month you got your winner. Go grind rocks for half of the day just to barely finish the foundation of your house and live in a construction site for the foreseeable future. Why do I play this game? Mostly because I am bored and I have nothing to play at this moment, but also because I enjoy the looks and general vibes of this game. That being said, I could never recommend a game that was released in a ''full version'' yet feels like a beta game to someone.

amazing and super realistic i love the game personally and i recommend to others if anyone likes realistic games
This game is a slow burn paradise. Leveling, building, crafting, mat farming, dungeons, and powerful boss fights. Im completely addicted.
This is far from being a Game, it is a nice building engine The most worrying part is the updates are not addressing the lack of game mechanics while charging a monthly cost to play
I played Pax Dei hardcore at release — 316 hours on record — and it checked a lot of boxes early on. But once you start exploring, the cracks show fast. The world feels copy‑pasted, with the same zones repeated across every map. You can run for long stretches without seeing a single mob, then suddenly walk into a camp where enemies rubber‑band all over the place and ten NPCs aggro at once, pulling the entire camp with them. The crafting system is a nightmare. It forces you to waste days or weeks failing crafts just to level up. Nobody wants to make 900 iron skinning knives just to progress. The marketplace desperately needs to be global instead of forcing players to run around endlessly. Progression is also gated behind pure iron, which basically pushes you into the PvP zone whether you want to be there or not. The plot system is awful — you should get one free plot per month that expires unless you maintain it with a simple item, similar to how V Rising uses blood to keep bases active. If players want more space, then charge for additional plots. There’s almost no reason to travel to other maps unless you enjoy dropping to 12 FPS while looking at massive player structures. And honestly, one of the biggest missing features is something simple: waterfalls. The world feels lifeless without them. To be fair, I haven’t played in a while, but I walked away disappointed after being so dedicated early on. I’ve had far more fun playing Valheim on a dedicated server with a few friends.
Pointless and boring game with subscription model.
Was hoping for "albion online in ue5" which it could or could not become in what feels like min 7 years. Instead of adding actual content the devs get stuck on rebalancing or "perfecting" crafting systems that would be acceptable for the playerbase if there was some content to play. Idk how a mmo (more so in this scale) gets out of early access without fishing and or mounts https://playpaxdei.com/en-us/news/information/future-of-pax-dei-a-letter-from-the-team The last update i found for reads like this for me - we know what you would like but here is what we do. For me its a pretty crafting/building simulator but sadly nowhere near a state where you play a mmo
戦闘中に特化して1年プレイしたキャラ 料理に特化して1か月プレイしたキャラ どっちがハイレイヤの料理を作れるか言ったら後者であるべきなんだよ キャラに色が無い スキル構造が完全に破綻してる
No way to move base without making it public, hwat a pile of ♥♥♥♥ game.
