Make separate servers for dumb kids with PSVR
Used to be the peak of VR multiplayer with the best modding scene around. What a tragedy what the devs did to it

Not worth it anymore. It used to be amazing but they slaughtered the modding community to make it accessible to PS players, who dropped it after a few hours. The game has more GB of storage then it does consistent players. Rest well, Pavlov, the devs didn't deserve you.
Bending over to take it from sony and make it PS compatible, and killing the mods was a choice. hope yall made money off the sony deal though
Honestly, this used to be one of the best Vr games(imo) I had ever played. I made tons of friends through it, and it got me through covid by playing TTT with tons of people who made the game amazing, especially the people who made the maps. From being a traitor in TTT while standing inside a giant bedroom and being in a SCP Secret Lab to storming the beaches of Normandy to now is just plain sad. Modders really carried this game, but the lack of noteworthy updates, the integration of mod.io, and crossplay with PSVR kinda just ruined the game. Also, in-game currency? It just made the game feel like a quick cash grab when this game was way better than that. This game sadly gets less than 140 people now, with some servers being dead depending on the time of day you get on. Not even my wife's boyfriend plays anymore, and a big chunk of people just left. Basically just like the Lorax when the orange furry pipsqueak dude got mad that the Willy Wonka guy cut down all the trees and forced all the forest friends to relocate in a giant long march. Maybe one day, the citizens of New Town and Pavlovia will revive the game, but sadly, it seems this game is controlled by the traitors using evil gadgets to keep the game dead.
this game has become a daycare ever since they put it on playstation basically unplayable bc 12 year olds

I bought Pavlov because there are a lot of mods in the Steam Workshop. Unfortunately, we no longer have access to Steam mods. Most of the good Steam mods are gone. I advise you against buying this game.
I really like the bones of this game. It's REALLY good. Everything is just super buttery smooth and fluid, and every gun handles like a dream. I truly have no complaints against the actual gunplay of this game. Which is why it hurts to have to not recommend it to literally anybody. I'm serious, and I have very good reasons for it. Allow me to tell you a story…
Chapter 1: The Apotheosis
In May of 2020, Vankrupt would release an update with modding tools for the Steam Workshop. It was one of the greatest updates in the game’s history. This update would bring a plethora of diverse and interesting maps, gamemodes, guns, models, whatever you wanted really! Wanted to play CoD Zombies in Pavlov? Go ahead man! Want to port a map from a different game or make one from scratch? Sure, totally! And it was all hosted on one of the most player friendly mod managers to ever exist. The Steam Workshop. It handles everything for you. One click and you’re done. It’s downloaded, installed, configured, and right there for you to play. Mods turned this game from A tier above everything else to ascendant. It was whatever you wanted, however you wanted it. This was a game for everyone now.
Chapter 2: The Drought
Around December-ish of 2021 I would begin to play Pavlov on pc. Update 28, otherwise known as the Push update had just come out, and it was really cool. It added WWII tanks and a huge Battlefield style game mode with a ton of players. It was sick! Running around with a Lee-Enfield while tank shells are flying right by your head in VR is awesome! I really made you wonder what would even be in the next update, considering everything that was added up to that pont. January comes and goes, and a few hotfixes are put out to patch some bugs. It’s still pretty early for an actual update to come out but crazier things have happened in this games lifespan so who knows! February rolls by and there’s no updates. That’s totally fine! Most updates come out in about 3 or 4 months so maybe next month! End of March. No updates. Oh well, it’s probably going to come out next month! It is now July of 2022. No news of updates. Radio silence. Something is very wrong. We should have gotten some sort of news or something but… nothing? Absolutely positively nothing? Not even a hotfix? Oh well, I guess I just have to discover this games awesome modding scene! December of 2022. What’s this? A beta for update 29? Finally! Oh man this update must be huge to take this long! I can’t wait to look at the patch notes!
Chapter 3: The Murder
It wouldn’t be until June of 2023 in which Update 29 would be released. This update was absolutely massive! The changes are too many to count! Look at all of this! Crossplay with PSVR2 and new character models and new guns and hand poses, oh my! But… what’s this? The game has been updated to… Unreal Engine 5? Okay, I mean… UE5 is… fine I guess but alright. And then I saw it. The worst header to ever exist in a steam news article. ”Retiring Steam Workshop and In-Game Mod Browser” Oh… Oh no… In one single update, they had completely obsoleted literally EVERY SINGLE MOD EVER MADE FOR THIS GAME. Unacceptable doesn’t even begin to describe the behavior shown here! Vankrupt had basically spit in the face of every modder! No more CoD Zombies, No more Dust II. No more mods. Start from scratch on mod.io, nerd. Not only that, but the game doesn’t even function anymore! The audio’s bugging out, your hands are glitching out, it’s slow and laggy, and lots of people can’t even get the game to launch! It’s a disaster! It wouldn’t be until August of that year for the game to actually be in a playable state again.
Chapter 4: The Funeral
It is now January of 2026. The game now has microtransactions and guns with unicorns on them. It still has constant performance issues. The modding community is basically dead. The game now struggles to average 100 players at any given time. According to Steam Charts the game has lost about 90% of its player base on PC since December of 2021, around where Push update came out. Pavlov on PC is no more. R.I.P Pavlov.
