Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.25/day in the week to Aug 3 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Pathologic 3 is a psychological horror game where you have only 12 days to save a town from a mysterious plague.
You are Daniil Dankovsky: physician, researcher, prodigy. Your research into the nature of death has brought you to this remote town deep in the eastern steppe, looking for a man said to be immortal.
But the outbreak of a deadly contagion sweeps through the town. The immortal man is dead. You failed to stop it.
Now you must return to the beginning. Fix your mistakes. Save the town.
Every minute counts. Save them all, discover the secrets of immortality... don't go mad in the process.
Bring your medical training to bear. Observation and knowledge are your tools. Work with patients face-to-face.
Examine the sick and make diagnoses. Each patient is a unique story — and a medical mystery. They may lie, omit the truth, or hide their motives. You must separate fact from fiction, and identify the real symptoms. Step by step, you'll get closer to developing a vaccine that could change everything.
Fight for every new day. Ensure the town's survival by imposing your own rules: enforce quarantines, confiscate precious medicine, vaccinate the population, suppress riots, deploy patrols, and declare curfews.
You will make mistakes, face their consequences, and unlock new decrees. Your actions will shape the town—even if the people grow to hate you for it. Power is in your hands. It's up to you whether the streets will see gunfire or fireworks.
Made a mistake? Go back, and fix it.
Time is your tool for navigating a narrative web filled with moral dilemmas and branching paths. Rewind if you think you could have done better. Keep your eye on your ultimate goal—even if the road there is paved with sacrifices.
How far will you go to find the truth? Your mental state directly affects your actions, and even how you interpret events. Falling into apathy or wandering into mania may lead you to new insights... or to your death.
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Xbox, GOG publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

I get it. I undestand why there is so much ship fan art between Daniil and Artemy.

"Pathologic 3 is a non-linear fictional alternative history 1800's roleplaying game about a medical doctor who travels through space and time, to save a town from a deadly plague, potentially uncover the town's supernatural elements and cultures, whilst also trying to discover the secrets of the immortal man, who has miraculously died." IF THAT DOESN’T EVEN INTEREST YOU TO PLAY THE GAME, F*CKING NOTHING WILL! (Okay, I have a games log, in which every game I finish, I write in detail what I thought about it. The log of this game might reach like 10k words so I'll just copy and paste some of it, which gives my general thoughts about it, but spoiler, this is my personal GOTY so far): Pathologic 3. A surprisingly contentious game. As somebody entirely new to the series with only the hbomerguy video referencing Pathologic 1, I REALLY loved this game. HOWEVER, when I watched a video-essay about the game, it really brought out the very troubled and problematic development history that this series has. Essentially Pathologic 2 was supposed to be a…reboot for Pathologic 1? I’m not entirely sure, but it was supposed to include both the bachelor, the changeling, and the haruspex story in ONE game, and release (get this), in TWENTY-NINETEEN. That’s right…SEVEN YEARS AGO! Apparently, the studio became so ambitious, that they decided to leave Pathologic 2 as “The Haruspex Story” and wanted to develop Pathologic 3 for the Bachelor, and Pathologic 4 for the Changeling. And honestly, I can tell. Pathologic 3 is SO ambitious, and clearly contains SO MUCH LOVE, but the development of this game seems like…slightly disorganised and scattered, I CANNOT LIE. This further comes into question when people are saying Pathologic 2 is the MUCH BETTER game, and I come to find out that Pathologic 3 was an unfinished dumpster fire on release, which is really funny, because the very beginning of this log, is going to be talking about the NUMEROUS bugs, exploits and ideas that CLEARLY needed more ironing out. So, this is what I’m going to say, if I love Pathologic 3 as a newcomer, DESPITE ALL OF THESE ISSUES THAT I HAVE ENCOUNTERED…bro, when I get my hands on Pathologic 2, I might just become a new man. My review of that game might be a picture of me BUSTING everywh-. That’s why I emphasise, AS A NEWCOMER, to this series, because I don’t know how I would feel, if I were a Kickstarter backer and a long-time fan of this series. AS A NEWCOMER, I LOVE Pathologic because of its characters, and its story. There are other aspects I love as well, and will later gush on about, but this game F*CKS. It F*CKS you, and gives you the aftercare you DESERVE, telling you how awesome you are for finishing the experience. Imma play Pathologic 2 after writing this review, so if I LOVE Pathologic 3 THIS MUCH, bro Pathologic 2 might be it.
One of the best narrative experiences I've ever seen in a video game. Yes, the gameplay mechanics are questionable at best. Yes, the technical aspects leave much to be desired. But the narrative gives you something that's so hard to find anywhere else.
Hic ludus similis est ingressui in Polyhedrum. Plerumque prorsus nescis quid agatur, sed mirabilis est.
