About
Path of Exile 2 is a next generation Action RPG from Grinding Gear Games, featuring co-op for up to six players. Path of Exile 2 takes place in the land of Wraeclast, a dark continent populated by unique cultures, ancient secrets, and monstrous dangers. A sinister threat, long thought destroyed, has begun creeping back on the edge of civilisation, driving people mad and sickening the land with Corruption.
Path of Exile 2 features a brand new campaign with six acts, 100 distinct environments, 600 monsters and 100 bosses.
Twelve Character Classes
Path of Exile 2 features twelve character classes, two for every combination of Strength, Dexterity and Intelligence. While each of the class variants focuses on a different playstyle, they're just a starting point. You can combine skills from many classes together to create your ideal character build.
Each of the twelve character classes has its own three Ascendancy specialisations, resulting in a total of 36 Ascendancy Classes to pick between.
New Skill Gem System
Path of Exile 2 features 240 Skill Gems that grant devastating active skills and 200 Support Gems that modify their behaviour. Combine these together to create your perfect build.
This is the next generation of Path of Exile's famous skill system. Support Gems are now socketed directly into Skill Gems, removing many of the frustrations present in the old system while maintaining all the previous depth. It's now possible to six-link every skill your character uses.
Dual-specialise your Passive Skill Tree
Path of Exile's iconic Passive Skill Tree has made a return, with 1,500 skills that allow you to completely customise your gameplay experience. It now features Dual Specialisation, the ability to allocate some passive skill points to two different sets of skills. They engage whenever the appropriate weapon or skill type is used. For example, you can have some points allocated to both daggers and traps, or ice and lightning, and as you swap between attacks, the appropriate skill points will apply. This lets you specialise in multiple areas without opportunity cost.
Uncover All-new Items
Path of Exile 2 features 700 equipment base types and every single one has its own unique item you can find. You can augment your arsenal with new weapons such as Spears, Crossbows and Flails, as well as supplementary items like Focuses, Traps and redesigned Sceptres.
Encounter Unique Bosses
In Path of Exile 2, every area of the Campaign contains a boss encounter. There's over a hundred bosses to fight as you make your way through the Acts and they all have unique mechanics to learn.
Explore a New Endgame
Completing the campaign is just the beginning. The endgame in Path of Exile 2 includes countless areas in different biomes, powerful crafting, challenging bosses, unique encounters and much more. Unlock new paths and explore further into the world.
As you progress through the endgame, you will gain access to special passive trees that can boost the rewards of your maps and change the way the various endgame mechanics work. These trees will make your maps more rewarding but also more difficult.
Path of Exile 2 introduces sequels to several leagues from Path of Exile. While their mechanics are familiar, the monsters, bosses, rewards and progression are all new.
Fair-To-Play. Never Pay-To-Win.
Path of Exile 2 is a separate game to the original Path of Exile. We will continue to offer expansions for both games going forward. They will never be "pay to win". Purchases are shared between the two games.

Just tired of the cheap capitalistic tactics they put in games now a days.. Like the boss fights are just freaking cheap man... adding random kill shots so you just WASTE YOUR TIME.... I don't pay for a game to brutalize myself all day. Just annoying.
Most unfriendly ARPG ever to any solo-player. just do yourself a favour and actually play a decent ARPG, buy diablo instead of this useless dumpster fire

Is PoE2 a good game? Absolutely, most people out there will enjoy it. Do I like it? As a PoE1 and Diablo-style ARPG fan, this is not for me at all. I think that the building systems in this game are a step up from 1 but the more deliberate and "souls-style" (I don't care if the Reddit elitists say its not - you literally mid-roll like in Dark Souls 1 and bosses have Elden Ring-style delayed attacks) combat is not for me. What I search in an ARPG is clearing fast lots of enemies while avoiding a headache caused by all the stuff that's on screen and bosses with traditional fast ARPG attacks and not slow telegraphed hits that one-shot you if you don't roll on time. As I said earlier, the game is fundamentally good and if you enjoy this "modern" style of gameplay you'll probably like it, however, I think I'll stick to PoE1 for the moment - no offense to GGG, this is purely my opinion and not everything is for everyone, I still respect your work and I hope you continue growing in the future, ♥♥♥♥ Blizzard, D4 bad.
Path of Exile 2 had the potential to truly revolutionize the genre. Early on, it promised a slower, more tactical, Souls-like approach to ARPG combat where positioning and timing actually mattered. Instead, it devolved into just another speed-runner clicker. By Act 3, all depth evaporates. You stop engaging with enemy mechanics and simply turn into a walking vacuum cleaner that erases full screens of mobs without even looking at them. Bosses die in seconds, and any semblance of actual challenge is thrown out the window. It is an absurd waste of potential. Beautiful engine, great animations, zero meaningful gameplay, and absolute lack of difficulty. If you were hoping for a rewarding, strategic combat experience, look elsewhere.
Would be nice to have been able to come back the game after being away from about 6+ months except for the fact that my account got permanently banned for "Using Third Party Programs". If this can happen to me, no reason it can't happen to someone else. Hope things go better for others but as for me... I'll pass
The game is hopelessly difficult and do not help the player ease into creating a better character. It just punishes the player! On top of that the, the servers are horribly unstable. My ping is mostly stable at 23ms, but infrequent spikes 2000+ms makes battles impossible. I’ve waited almost a year playing this after the beta launched and are truly disappointed. To new players, play the old game. It works and is a lot more user-friendly
Game is good but I cannot recommend it due to extremely and I mean EXTREMELY poor optimization. I haven't seen lag and performance issues in a game this bad since I was playing on literal dial-up. If they can fix the awful FPS, shaders and connection issues - the game will become an 8. For now, it's a 4-5.
эта игра убивает мои нервы
If I compare this game with my experiences of other ARPGs as it currently stands, I cannot reccomend this game. My experience is marred by constant frame dops every time I log on to play regardless of how I change the in game settings. The combat is more fluid that POE1 but I find the skills to be very uninspired and I think the builds from the first game were far more interesting to play and discover. I can understand that this might be to engage newer players to the genre, but the liner skills and gameplay feel very bland. Visually, I think the game looks great, but based on whatever Grinding Gear have done with their engine or optimisation, it's hard to appreciate the visuals of a game that drops to 0 frames every few seconds. Of course there are new classes and I have enjoyed playing some of them, but the game in it's current stage again I feel the combat to be quite stale. Also, this early access version is 150GB? Where is this content? is it purely in texture packs and shaders that render the game unplayable for many? I think that at the 1.0 release this game will be a worthy successor to POE1, but for people looking to get into the game, I do not recommend buying this now, and you should wait for the official release.
