Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.13/day in the week to Aug 3 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
"Paratopic is probably the most important first-person game this year."
Waypoint
You got caught smuggling VHS tapes across the border, and now there's hell to pay. You want to find an elusive rare bird in the forest and snap its picture. You have to kill a man in the back room of a shady diner.
This is Paratopic, an experimental first-person horror game named by Rock, Paper, Shotgun as one of the best games of 2018, and by FACT mag as having one of the top 10 soundtracks of the year.
A narrative, horror tinged adventure game that takes you on a journey through a cruel fever dream world.
Cutting between numerous detailed and varied vignettes, unravel how the stories of three separate characters intersect.
Explore the detritus of forbidden industry, kill, drive through the night, find yourself in conversation with some very off-kilter individuals.
A leisurely playthrough should take forty five minutes give or take, with plenty more to discover in the detailed, grimey low polygon environments. Or speedrun it, if you'd prefer.
Over an hour of gorgeous dark ambient music is used to create our subtly dynamic soundscape. An anachronistic blend of modern and outdated production as glitches and textural pads meet synthesis & sampling akin to a haunted recollection of 90s Unreal Engine soundtracks.

Sums Steam only; Xbox, Nintendo publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Reviews
不気味さ、気持ち悪さが強めの作品。 ホラー苦手な自分でもプレイできました。 ストーリーは明確に語られることがなく、考察がたくさん出来て好き。 セーブなしというシステムも、一周のボリュームも程よかったです。
A really short but really enjoyable little surreal game. Highly worth it in my opinion, have not tried the new dubbed version that i saw came out
Это очень круто

Quite mid but i'm going to vote positive. Cryptic and surreal experience where the only interesting thing is talking about aliens with a NPC. I usually like this kind of games but this time i felt this too short. The soundtrack is good tho
Idk what's happening, and I think that's the intended purpose of this walking sim nightmare that's very liminal, but vast. the seemingly random transitions and interactions in this world is an effed up fever dream. everyone sounds like Peanut's parents and nothing makes sense. I LOVE IT! this game is meant to be played in one sitting with no save point, so be sure you have about an hour with no interruptions... unless you have a steam deck or willing to do multiple runs. just when I thought my taste in games couldn't get any more bizarre, got another one under my belt 'til the next one! P.S. support your indie devs!
That was good. Graphics and sounds are 10 for PSX. It's like Fear of Loathing in Las Vegas. I'm not sure what is going on but I'll just enjoy the ride.
I only played this so I could watch a youtube video analyzing it
Lynch would def love this
