On December 7, 1941, a major part of the U.S. Pacific navy stationed at Pearl Harbor was assaulted by Japanese planes. Japanese fighters were destroying American aircraft on land and in the air, without giving them a chance for a counterattack. The furious battle of Pearl Harbor became the first in the sequence of gory sea combats.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

So bad
It was a great game for its time, but it's very, very difficult to play now. Too many hotkeys, unit control is not good. The game just feels old. Despite the unique features that simply do not exist anywhere else.

Pacific Storm is an unusually ambitious World War II strategy game that tries to represent the Pacific conflict from several perspectives at once. Developed by Buka Entertainment and Lesta Studio and published by ESDigital Games, it combines strategic management, real-time tactical warfare, resource administration, technological development, and direct control of individual combat units. Instead of limiting the experience to isolated naval battles, the game asks players to consider the wider war effort, creating a campaign where preparation can be every bit as important as what happens once the shooting begins. The campaign focuses on the conflict between the United States and Japan, with both sides available to play. Choosing a faction changes the strategic circumstances, available forces, and challenges encountered throughout the war. The enormous geography of the Pacific makes positioning particularly important because fleets, aircraft, bases, and resources must be considered across a broad theater of operations. While historical events provide the foundation, players have enough strategic freedom to influence how the conflict develops rather than simply following a rigid sequence of predetermined battles. Much of the depth comes from the economic and logistical systems operating behind the front lines. Players must manage money and resources such as oil, iron, bauxite, and nickel ore while deciding how those materials should contribute to the military effort. Building an effective fighting force therefore involves more than producing the strongest units whenever possible. Resources have to be allocated carefully, replacements must be considered, and expansion needs to remain sustainable. Losing valuable equipment can have consequences that extend far beyond a single engagement. Research and production add another layer to this planning. New technologies can improve military capabilities and expand the options available for future operations. Battleships, aircraft carriers, fighters, bombers, and other military assets all have roles within the broader strategy. Air power is especially significant because aircraft can dramatically influence naval confrontations, while carriers provide the means to project that strength across the huge distances of the Pacific. Constructing a balanced force and deploying it intelligently becomes one of the game's more satisfying long-term challenges. Pacific Storm distinguishes itself further by allowing players to move between large-scale command and more immediate combat. Strategic decisions can eventually lead into real-time battles where fleets and aircraft operate directly against enemy forces. Players can manage these encounters tactically or take direct control of individual units. Personally operating a ship or aircraft creates an interesting contrast with the slower strategic portions of the campaign. The direct-control mechanics are not as sophisticated as those of dedicated simulation games, but they help make battles feel more personal and provide variety between periods of management. The strongest part of the experience is the relationship between its different systems. Resources support production, production determines military strength, research influences future capabilities, and strategic positioning determines where those forces can be used effectively. Tactical battles then become the final test of those earlier decisions. A successful operation can feel rewarding because victory may have begun long before the actual engagement, perhaps with a research choice, resource investment, or deployment decision made several turns earlier. This complexity also produces some of the game's biggest weaknesses. Pacific Storm attempts to combine so many mechanics that individual systems sometimes lack the polish expected from games specializing in a single genre. The interface can require patience, and understanding how everything works is not always intuitive. New players may find themselves dealing with menus and controls before they can properly appreciate the underlying strategic depth. Artificial intelligence can also behave inconsistently, while direct unit control occasionally feels cumbersome. Its presentation has aged considerably as well. Ship and aircraft models, environmental detail, visual effects, animations, and interface design clearly belong to an earlier generation of PC strategy games. However, graphical age does not completely undermine the atmosphere. Large stretches of ocean, formations of aircraft, carrier operations, and clashes between fleets still communicate the scale of Pacific warfare reasonably well. Players primarily interested in mechanical depth and historical strategy are more likely to overlook the dated visuals than those expecting modern cinematic presentation. Steam Deck compatibility is not officially rated by Valve on the Steam store page, so the game should be considered unverified rather than officially Steam Deck Verified or Playable. Because Pacific Storm was designed around an older Windows PC environment and relies heavily on traditional mouse-and-keyboard interaction, handheld use may require custom controller mapping, trackpad input, compatibility adjustments, or experimentation with Proton. The interface and management-heavy gameplay may also be less comfortable on the Deck's smaller display. It should therefore not be purchased specifically for Steam Deck use with the expectation of a completely trouble-free experience. Pacific Storm ultimately succeeds more through scope and ambition than refinement. It offers an intriguing mixture of grand strategic thinking and hands-on combat that remains distinctive. Players who enjoy managing resources, researching technology, constructing military forces, planning naval operations, and then participating in the resulting battles can find substantial depth here. Its dated interface, aging presentation, uneven controls, and steep learning curve prevent it from becoming universally accessible, but patient strategy enthusiasts interested in the Pacific theater may discover a surprisingly involved military sandbox. Rating: 7/10
fantastica y idea en su tiempo, lastima los bugs, pero el diseño de barcos, equipaciones y desarollo era espectacular.

Pacific Storm is an absolute blast! This game takes you on a wild ride through epic naval battles, and I found myself laughing as I tried to command my fleet while dodging everything from rogue waves to enemy fire. The mix of strategy and chaos is perfect; one moment you're plotting a brilliant attack, and the next, you're frantically trying to save your ships from a surprise storm! The graphics are stunning, making the ocean feel alive, and the sound effects had my heart racing. If you enjoy a game that combines strategy with a healthy dose of humor and unpredictability, Pacific Storm is definitely worth diving into!
Подойдёт фанатам Hearts of Iron и хардкорных RTS. Лучше брать по скидке (прохождение — десятки часов, высокая реиграбельность за счёт альтернативных сценариев).
