Named Game of the Year 2019 by Giant Bomb, Polygon, Eurogamer, and The Guardian, Outer Wilds is a critically-acclaimed and award-winning open world mystery about a solar system trapped in an endless time loop.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 48/day in the week to Aug 22 → 45.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I have really tried to get into this game over the last year or so, but it felt like I needed to have the patience of a saint to want to play this. I really wanted to explore the story, and thought that once I got deeper in, I'd have the motivation to finish the game. Unfortunately, every game mechanic is so tedious and frustrating that it eventually diminished any remaining curiosity I had for the story and characters. Games are supposed to pull you in over time; this is the first game I've played that not only did the opposite but left me feeling like I wasted my time. I love exploration games. I do not like having to explore the same areas over and over and being hit with disproportionate penalties for failing to time something precisely or perfectly maneuver my ship.

Please hire a merc to hit me in the head who specializes in amnesia this is a call for help not a review.
I really wanted to love this game. All I knew beforehand that it had to do with outer space (which I love) and exploration. It seemed like a recipe for a good time, but alas, this game is horribly, horribly designed. I understand why others might like it, I suppose and I understand the mechanics were implemented with intent. But those mechanics are still horrible. The controls are unreliable , wonky, and this is officially the first and insofar only game that ever gave me motion sickness. My biggest gripe though is that this game constantly punishes you, even if you make "progress". There is literally no sense of reward or achievement. Each clue you unravel will simply go "oh, you thought I will give you meaningful info? HA, no, please go to this other location". Oh, and you might have to go to that other location over and over again because even if you manage your resources of oxygen and fuel well, the game will kill you in a set amount of time regardless. Literal morsels of a story that is too big and complicated for this, with no hook. No information about who you are, why you should do this, or why you should even care. Happy for the people who loved it, I will never play another minute of this torture.
Overrated. It's a basic exploration game set in a tiny solar system in a 22 minute time loop with timed puzzles. The mystery is not that interesting, and the piloting is extremely basic. The game just doesn't respect the player's time. You unlock info, but that's the only thing that survives the end of the time loop. You can't save and come back to where you left off, you need to travel to the planets again and then redo all the stuff you did to get somewhere. The autopilot of the ship is quite bad and it has crashed my ship into the sun or a moon in more than one occasion. I love space exploration, I love mysteries, and I love puzzles, and Outer Wilds did not deliver in any of those aspects.
Every star carries within it the promise of collapse. It spends a lifetime suspended between gravity and light, until the universe whispers that even light must yield. The star returns its fire to the cosmos, yet it does not disappear. Time turns back toward the dawn, the same fire ignites, and another journey begins. Through the silence of countless endings, one traveler carries the memories of worlds that have forgotten themselves, searching for answers hidden among distant planets and ancient ruins. Every discovery feels like a message sent across time. Outer Wilds is not a story about stopping the inevitable. It is a story about curiosity and the beauty of seeking understanding, even when the universe itself is fading away. In the end, the greatest thing we carry forward is not the answer, but the journey that led us there.
Genuinely one of the best experiences I've had in any game ever. Absolute must play.
