Ostriv is a city-building game that puts you in a role of a governor of an 18th century Ukrainian town to challenge your creative skills and management abilities.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Aug 17 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Scratches that itch. Work in progress with some interesting mechanics. Very chill gameplay.
Pretty tired of games using tags like strategy or survival when in reality the game has no challenge at all. You basically just see need for resource, put the building, watch it build. There is no strategy really. No survival pressure, everything is obnoxiously easy. So if you are looking for a sandbox with interesting animations and decorations then I think you will have fun, but if you looking for any strategy or survival at all, this game is not for you.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Ostriv is a quietly brilliant city-builder that stands out for its warmth, historical charm, and remarkable attention to detail. What makes it even more impressive is that it’s developed by an incredibly small team—yet the craftsmanship on display rivals that of much larger studios. The game’s organic building system, relaxed pacing, and deep economic simulation make every settlement feel personal and alive. You can see the passion poured into every feature: from the hand-crafted buildings to the thoughtful seasonal mechanics and realistic production chains. It’s one of those rare games where you can truly feel the dedication of its creators, and the result is a rich, peaceful, and wonderfully immersive experience.
This game absolutely slaps if you’re into city-builders. The atmosphere? Top-tier. It pulls you into city management just as hard as the big dogs in the genre. You actually feel like you’re building something meaningful, not just placing random blocks. Yeah, it’s still kinda raw around the edges. Needs some polish for sure. But honestly? It’s got its own vibe. The amount of micro-management is crazy (in a good way), and the economic mechanics are actually interesting instead of being some boring background numbers simulator. You gotta think. You gotta plan. Brain.exe is required. Now the weird part - sometimes there’s a lot of just… sitting and waiting for the game to process stuff. Which is funny because at the same time it’s super micro-heavy. A bit of a gameplay dissonance, not gonna lie. Pro tip: don’t follow the tutorial like a sheep 🐑 Skip the farm early on and rush a trade warehouse + city administration instead. Trust me. Early economy boost hits different. And remember - хата з обійстрям завжди краще хати без! 🔥
Найкраща гра стіму !
I like watching the village organically grow into a small city. The management system keeps improving and makes it easy for villagers to find what they need - and to control the town finances. It is relaxing and beautiful and I find myself coming back to it time and again.
