Ostriv is a city-building game that puts you in a role of a governor of an 18th century Ukrainian town to challenge your creative skills and management abilities.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Aug 17 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Чудова гра. У грі не вистачає ЛГБТ спільноти. Було б дуже зручно на початку гри коли не вистачає робочої сили. А тут в'їжджає родина з двох мужиків і відразу пі*дують на будівництво)
coming up on 3 years since any meaningful updates. the long list of updates the devs have made in the meantime are extremely niche bug fixes that in 110 hours of play i never encountered. this is just a recommend not to buy, that being said if you cant resist the urge, the game itself in it's current form is phenomenal. i just wouldn't be expectant for it to progress any meaningfully further than current builds

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

tbh didn´t notice at the time that it was in EA game. it´s for people who like banished or manor lord (etc...), but ostriv has a different vibe. these little gardens behind their homes, the scaling which makes ur small village a town but not not a huge city... I really enjoyed it. gameplay wise btw banished and cliff empire, meaning you have to wait for stuff to happen sometimes (= speeding up) but it´s possible to fail and fck ur village up depending on the issue. and you have to micro manage. I think you should come for the feel (village in 18th century ukraine - yes pls) mechanics and graphics from Manor Lord probably better and prettier, but there is something to the game. also a dev who is passionated about the game even it´s not a (bit overhyped) hit like ML. if you have dozens of hours in banished, manor lords, timberborn or life is feudal you´re not doing anything wrong buying it (maybe for 15,- instead of 21 euros but in the end who cares if youre getting 50+ hours out of it).
i realized ive played for nearly for 200 hours since i have bought it in steam (ive had about 50 hours or so when it was just an image!) and i havent done a review. I have been playing city/resource management games since i have memories. Civilization, age of empires, cities skylines, sim city... Ive played thousands of hours of so many different games in the genre. This is definetly one of the top games i have ever played, and it is only in alpha! From the music, to the atmosphere, to the mechanics, to actually SEEING your buildings being constructed slowly, its just a pleasure to play this. Updates have been slow, but that is understandable since its a very small indie group (used to be only one guy for so long) and they have been having problems in Ucraine for the past years for obvious reasons. I am waiting patiently for a beta and an eventual final release for this game (even if it takes a few more years, perfection cannot be rushed). If i am having such a good, relaxing and fun time i can just enjoy the game as it is. 100% recommended you buy it even now!
If you enjoyed the game "Banished", or want something close to "Manor Lords" but just want to focus on the economy (i.e. no combat), this might just be the game for you.
Surviving your first few winters will be the most difficult, but afterwards you should have a grasp on the game's mechanics. Trade is VITAL for your town's survival. Many maps don't have the right resources, so it is important to start trading resources early (after 1st winter). I see how this may not be everyone's cup of tea, but if you like economy-based and settlement building games, you should really give this game a shot.

A game made with love and passion. Already there its worth supporting. People who know Banished will feel at home here. No combat. Just management and economy. At the slowest speed. It takes about half an hour to build anything. and max speed closer to 1-5min depending. Its relaxing. Its chill. The music is soothing. The graphics are basic but works so well with the game. Also when a villager dies you can look at the tomb stones and it gives a little description of their lives. And its always funny to get the description "Arrived at village 1750. Died 1750". Oh okay. Thanks? I love the game. Its worth getting.
