“Ori and the Blind Forest” tells the tale of a young orphan destined for heroics, through a visually stunning Action-Platformer crafted by Moon Studios.

Great game, the exploration was fun, the art is beautiful, soundtrack following suit, and I found it quite challenging sometimes (but never brutally challenging like other more hardcore metroidvanias, such as Hollow Knight/Silksong). I did find the visuals sometimes... too much? There is so much bloom and information in the screen, multiple times I couldn't understand where projectiles were coming from, or what terrain was deadly or not before I accidently died. I got the feeling that having such majestic and storybook-like visual identity everywhere made everything blend "too well", which isn't astounishing to marvel at, but not very good gameplay-wise. The "combat" is also really shallow, you literally mash one button, and projectiles auto-aim to nearby enemies. This mostly isn't an issue, since the game realizes the biggest "challenge" they throw at you is the plataforming itself (which I've found quite refreshing for a metroidvania!), and the game rewards the player with several plataforming powerups, that by end you feel like a parkour super-hero. But "fighting" is still present throughout, and I guess it dragged the game experience a bit down for me. But nevertheless, it was a very joyous experience, I definitely recommend to anyone that has interest in plataformers, metroidvanias, or just beautiful fantastical aesthetics. I'll certainly play the sequel at some point, which some friends have told have improved on several of the things I've didn't quite enjoy in this one.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 14: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Hell yeah!: wrath of the dead rabbit but Heaven children's edition
It is a short and sweet game, I enjoyed it. In comparison to the sequel (Will of the Wisps) it's a shorter game, combat's weaker, puzzles are a notch below and overall this game is a notch below the sequel.
my first ever metroidvania. the Ori games are some of the most visually stunning games I've ever played, with some of the most exhilarating platforming and chase sequences in any game I've played. And while the first ori definitely has its shortcoming, it is still a must play for any fan of the genre.
WOW
Played this to scratch the hollow knight itch. Here's what I'll say. Definitely NOT the game to play to try to replace hollow knight, if anything just play it to understand the sequel (haven't given that a try but tbd). The platforming is alright, but there's a lot of buttons mapped to a lot of very similar buttons/layouts, so you wind up accidentally triggering something you didn't mean to very often. Very short, very platforming instead of combat focused, and very unpolished in terms of enemy placement and some sequences. Despite those criticisms, not a bad game just not worth $20. Wait for a sale or cop a steam key.
Ori and the Blind Forest é um jogo simplesmente incrível.
