Ori and the Bind Forest is a short and well paced adventure precision platformer. I suppose I liked it mainly because your toolkit as Ori expands at a good pace, and some mini puzzles need out of the box thinking of your abilities to progress. Unfortunately, the game at times felt like super meat boy in terms of difficulty (AKA insta kills everywhere), especially towards the end, but the checkpoint system in place is super forgiving. I would not try playing this game in one life mode personally but it's there for the people who really want it, I guess. All in all, the music and visuals combine to make an unforgettable experience, the visuals are similar to Rayman Legends in that it runs well while looking cartoonish but with detailed effects. Story tugged on my heartstrings but I wasn't really playing it for that; it is there though and it's passable. The gameplay was also surprisingly good after around 2 hours, because you start off being frail and have no options to move around.
Even if platform is not your thing, Ori can definitely be. Music and atmosphere are both incredible, and mastering the new skills you gain throughout the game is immensely satisfying. A perfect combination of "I need cozy woods with no humans" and "let me prove myself as savior of the forest".
This game is very short and i like it specially because it makes this feel much more like a movie than a game but not like other games that try to do the same thing bucause it has its cinematic moments but it doesnt lack gameplay, the plataforming of this game is very satisfactory altough i feel like it can be kinda hard for players who never played any metroidvania platafform before, the soundtrack of this game is simply absurd specially in the escape sequences where you dont even bother dying a lot just to hear a litle bit more of the amazing Ost of this game
Captivatingly beautiful art style, challenging and addictive platforming and exploration, good music. Cool abilities, but slightly superflous, and not all upgrades are really worth it. Would like to have seen a more advanced upgrade tree. Slightly sub-par combat, and some annoying sections of the game 7.5/10
never been a fan of platformer games, but ori got me. touching story, great artwork and music, very nice gameplay in a beautiful world, with some challenging parts. definitely recommend
Платформер ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, напоминает холлов найт(музыка из первых лок начисто спижена с джунглей из хк, как и карта), но тут упор больше на паркур, по сравнению с хк быстрее и точнее, управление даже в самом начале не вызывает желание разъебать геймпад(советую играть только на нем, на клаве это мрак......),очень понравилась фишка с сейвами в любом месте, тут нет такой же ♥♥♥♥♥ как в хк, проебался? иди 1-3 минуты заново, это ♥♥♥♥♥♥ бесило, тут такого нет. Ну и классика для такого жанра, разнообразные локи по дизайну и сложности, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ саунд(да пускай в начале он спизжен с хк, но он все еще ахуенен), нормальная подача сюжета даж. За что отриц отзыв? Игра работает просто отвратнейше, статтеры, глюки, фризы, я догадываюсь что это как то связано с частотой кадров и vrr но мне ♥♥♥♥♥, раз разрабы выпустили дефенетив эдишн и до сих пор продают свое детище в стиме то пускай оптимизируют под новое железо, или \нахер сносят со стима и получают хуем по лбу за позорнейшую поддержку, есть игры дешевле и старее которые работают идеально
Es un gran juego, el diseño es hermoso y muy dinámico. No es un juego muy difícil por lo que si no has jugado muchos juegos de plataformeo, este es ideal para empezar
