Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Aug 15 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Experience enhanced combat where the combination of heroic prowess and ingenious traps leads to unparalleled orc destruction. Engage in tighter, more responsive third-person shooter and melee combat. Enjoy crazier physics-based interactions and more ridiculous ragdoll effects. Watch with joy as your traps hurl, crush, slice, and incinerate orcs in spectacular fashion.

Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap stays true to the beloved humor, personality, and charm of the series. From witty orc chatter to over-the-top physics sending screaming orcs flying, and a strong guitar- and drum-heavy soundtrack, every moment is crafted to keep your adrenaline pumping.

Reviews
I think they tried to experiment with something different but it ruined some fun elements of OMD. Fundamentally, OMD already has some elements of chaos and unpredictability especially in endless mode. You counteract that chaos by choosing your trap upgrades which was the case for OMD3. When you introduce an element of roguelite, it makes so many traps feel "weak" for higher difficulties. You have to roll the right threads just to get your traps to power up properly, which makes the game kinda annoying. For example, you set up your barricades right, then you finally roll the double barricades threads and you have to spend even more time setting up your defenses, sometimes forgetting to put some and so the wave inevitably fails. So many traps end up feeling "mediocre" unless you get the threads for them. Missions extend for a LONG time, because the threads carry over from one mission to the next, so you have to play in continuous succession to hopefully get your traps to power up the way you want it. The quicksave feature is helpful if you don't have time to play long hours but returning in the next play session and being forced to use your previous trap loadout isn't always fun. The game starts to feel pretty good/decent when you finally max out traps and characters. The character with the wrench (Mac) just feels way better than the other characters because the headshot damage and mobility is insane. It's not the worst purchase at 50% discount, but OMD2 and OMD3 is fundamentally better.
