Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Aug 15 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Initially the game feels absolutely horrible without any upgraded traps or skill tree combined with the wall limit and RNG if you'll ever get any more. It does get better with time but still doesn't feel like a complete Orcs Must Die game and more so a DLC that could have been slapped onto the 3rd game and not having its own campaign with more or less random map choices doesn't help this. I like that they've added characters with unique abilities like they had in unchained but most of the cast are just generic humans that don't have anything about their design that makes them feel unique, especially when compared to the massive variety of playable races and personalities that we had in unchained. Also the HUD is insanely ugly and looks like its made for a mobile game, again comparing it to unchained its a night and day difference. The threads (the roguelike system) is alright but some are horribly under-tuned and there isn't a great spread across all the traps, some have a lot of amazing options and some have very little or they're flat out useless IMO. In general the game is fine for a discount but doesn't deliver in the Orcs Must Die part that makes it fit within the franchise

For the time being, I won't recommend this game, although I’m planning to give it a few more hours but I have the feeling that I will not like it in long term... Pros: · OMD is always fun to play with friends. ·Smooth, engaging, and challenging gameplay. · Nice cartoon-style visuals and pretty well-designed environments. Cons: · I get the feeling that you need to grind traps in order to progress, which can be tedious if you don’t enjoy that kind of gameplay. · Instead of managing your traps through a comfortable, well-designed menu, you have to move around a 3D environment. Personally, I find this very tedious and a waste of time. · I still need to explore the game a bit more, but it feels like if you choose the wrong trap upgrades at the beginning, you can’t undo them later. · So far I didn't enjoy the design of the maps and specially the visual character design (the look so ugly).

I like the game and have played it a lot but I have to ultimately not recommend it because of one of the problem is the change to the combat and loadout. THE GOOD -It's gameplay of the Tower Defense is still there and good -Great amount of traps -The Scramble from OMD3 style which I like -Barricades are free but takes a slot THE BAD -Barricades are free, but it takes a lot (And this is ties into the bottom point) -You're locked with one special trap to the character and you can't remove it. -Animation lock when you melee in midair, you're also tracking with the attack but have no mobility. A lot of my complains are the first two points of the bad. You're essentially nerfed to 7 traps only and have to make do with it. If the game wants to make it so that Barricades are free (Which is always picked barring certain styles of playing) but limited, I do think having it be separate from your core loadouts alongside that special trap (Yes, some character traps are good, but I think it should also be separate and not take an additional precious slot that you need.) option. You already are down to 7. Further, the weapon option is also a previous problem that adds into because you're able to swap weapons in the last previous games which makes sense why it takes a slot of its own but now, since there's no other weapon swap available. Why is it taking another slot when it could be just baked into the game itself? I can see this as a legacy design oversight since it's iconic, but I feel that in this case of the game. It should just be removed and made as part of the character, freeing up an additional slot to 8 at least (IF the devs just do not want to remove the barricade and special trap option.). The air melee also shouldn't lock you in place, I understand it's meant for tracking air units better but it crimps your mobility a lot and I do not think it's good (Personal taste however.). I like this franchise a lot, and I have supported the game with previous purchase of the series. Deathtrap is still fun, but I cannot recommend it because I fear that such design would carry forward without proper adjustment.
gamemode with 4 players is great, but the old levels from omd3 are way better. gamemodes in this game are not fun at all
