Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Aug 15 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Recommendation A great 3rd-person action/tower defense game. If you've played either of the first two in the series, you'll know precisely what to expect here: use chokepoints and traps to create elaborate killboxes, and slaughter Orcs by the thousands to prevent them from reaching the portals that lead back home. The main innovations here are in the War Scenarios and the new Scramble Mode. The latter is a sort of roguelike-esque mode with randomised buffs and debuffs that accrue after each completed map, and is honestly a bit of a throwaway mode in its current incarnation. The former, however, is a series of maps sprinkled throughout the campaigns with a significantly larger scale: bigger maps to defend, giant hordes of enemies to cut through, and bigger and more powerful traps with which to get the job done. These are a nice touch, and a welcome addition to the existing formula. Otherwise, this is just more of the same -- and more Orcs Must Die is perfectly fine by me. 7/10

While I don't enjoy this as much as I do with Orcs Must Die! 2, at this this third installment works! Great way to end the trilogy! Best played in coop with a friend for the best experience! Problem with this game is that its just more of the same as the last 2 games, they didn't innovate enough and this should've had 4 player coop like Unchained did instead of just 2 players only.

Very fun game, especially with a friend in co-op. The physics traps are hilarious, but there is enough depth with combining elements to keep the other traps nice to use as well. It's a fun but very doable challenge to get all the achievements. I can highly recommend this game, the DLCs are okay if you can get them for cheap.

Conclusion : Orcs Must Die! 3 ne réinvente rien, et c'est presque le but. Note : ★★★★☆

I feel like the main and DLC campaigns were made by different people. In one, on the hardest difficulty, on top of having upgraded equipment, you have to sweat your ass and land headshots, whilst in the other you can clear out waves without placing any traps at all. I feel like this neatly summarises all the problems with the game, it's janky, feels unpolished, if your teammate disconnects for any reason, the game kicks you out and you can't continue from where you left off (imagine randomly disconnecting in an endless gamemode), a very frustrating experience that absolutely should not been coded in the game this way. I wouldn't call this game an FPS TD slop, but it's definitely not a satisfying experience. A solid 5 or 6 out of 10. I would only recommend it on a sale granted you are a TD genre enthusiast. The devs definitely should have tweaked some balancing and polished the game, not to mention the lack of steam workshop. After finishing main campaigns all the gameplay you have is either going for all achievements, 100% completion or playing high scores in the endless mode, which is just a mode where with each wave your enemies will have more and more HP, which isn't very fun unless you like mind numbingly holding left click. Even though 6/10 should be a positive rating, I will still not recommend it because most of the times I would just simply wait for the level to end because of how one sided the map was or I would get punished for trying to use new towers that were so much inferior to tar and flying pink skulls that I immediately sold the upgrades and moved on. It's very hard to get out of the meta of a handful of towers especially because you just don't get to see how impactful they are in the chaos, not to mention that probably more than half of the total damage is done by the primary weapon on your person. Someone could say it's a skill issue, but when comparing to other TD games where they have tower stats/they properly show you how a tower behaves in a comprehensive way orc must die 3 just takes an L on this one. Other than that there were a couple of fun and interesting levels, I especially enjoyed the war scenario where you have new, bigger towers outside exclusive to those levels, but for the most part I found myself more preoccupied with the things I disliked as opposed to just enjoying the game.
I had a lot of fun with OMD1 and OMD3 delivered big time without feeling repetitive. New traps, weapons and trinkets to make those pesky orcs reconsider their life choices when it's already too late for them. If you have problems with placing traps or using weapons (mouse clicks aren't working frequently), play in fullscreen and NOT (borderless) windowed. Might save you a headache and/or yelling at your poor screen.
I played the first two games. This isn't my favorite genre, but I like them. I though the first campaign was decent, but I keep suffering crashes to desktop (UE4 crashes) including every time I get to the final level of the initial campaign. After reasonable troubleshooting efforts, I give up.
