About
The incremental auto battler. Build an orc army, watch it fight, and make it unstoppable!
Orc Incremental puts you in command of a growing warband of dark forces. Recruit all kinds of units, set formations, draw powerful cards, and ascend for permanent power bonuses to make every run hit harder than the last. Idle progression meets real tactical decisions, and it never stops scaling.
DRAFT YOUR ARMY
Draw cards to add units and totems to your warband. Units come in multiple rarities and fill different battlefield roles, and the right mix is what gets you past the next wall. Totems provide passive bonuses that can change how your whole army performs. Every card you pick shapes your composition and pushes your run in a different direction.
SET YOUR FORMATION. LET THEM LOOSE.
Your army marches forward and fights on its own. When your strategy is working, you watch it rip through wave after wave. When you hit a wall, rethink your lineup or swap in new units.
CAST SPELLS. BREAK THROUGH.
You can support your army with spells. Drop a Blizzard to slow a boss that's tearing through your frontline, or land a Fireball at the right moment to close out a fight you were about to lose.
ASCEND. RETURN STRONGER.
At some point your army stops being enough. That's when you ascend (Dark Rebirth). Reset your run, keep permanent bonuses (for damage, health, gold, etc.) and unlock new units and challenges that weren't available before. The early game opens up as your power grows, and the later milestones keep pushing you further. Every Dark Rebirth makes you stronger and opens up new goals.

Slow and boring. I have to finish the dumb bird achievement to 100% but this game is not worth you rime or money. It's the first game I've ever seen that started with hype prior to release (typically early access) and then redesigned the game on the fly effectively making the release early access.
This game is simplistic, and there's no true failure condition, due to the nature of the play style. But if you want to play with an inexpensive "numbers go up" game, this one scratches that itch nicely. A large chunk of my 100 hours (at time of review) is idling overnight, or while at work. I jump in, choose my upgrades, reset my run if appropriate, then enjoy picking out orcs until my army is nice and stable. In this time, I have fully unlocked the tech tree, so about the only thing left for me to do is mess around with different army builds out of curiosity. The dev is also quite responsive. Quite a lot of fixes and quality of life improvements have been released already. Things I don't like: 1. The trials are very grindy and honestly not fun. I did one for the achievement, but I don't think I'm going to get the achievement for doing all of them. 2. There seems to be one ideal, very simplistic army build that can just faceroll things. I won't spoil it, but I will say I have trouble justifying more complex army builds, as it honestly just slows things down. 3. There isn't much of an end-game. There are bosses every 100 levels, until there aren't. Then it's just endless waves with multiplicative HP. 4. There is no way to spend your upgrade gems once you fully unlock the tech tree. Some kind of endless incremental (heh) overload where you could dump your excess gems for fractions of a percent more damage, HP, or attack speed would be a nice way to have resets not become completely pointless. These weaknesses don't ruin the game, in my opinion, they fall in line with the fair price and level of content. I genuninely hope the dev is planning content updates or even DLC, because the game has has a good core, and really just needs a little bit more to be even more incremental.

Fun game at first, but gets very repetitive very quickly. There's one valid build so there is no reason to experiment across different prestiges, you just do the same thing a bunch of times. Trials feel like they were designed to be frustrating. Mechanics that they introduce are very irritating require grinding instead of thinking. Some of the trials are so dumb you need to repeatably grind level 1. You that you can feel like you were in a South Park warcraft episode. Bird Hunter achievement was designed by a sadist wanting you to sit through ~100h of screensaver trying to occasionally hit a moving target with a slowest projectile ever. Developers, go ahead and trying doing it 100 times.
Im gonna recommend this. The game is fun, although the game has its issues. its unique combat system is what has me hooked. Issues for me would be that some runs you never get good totems. I got an epic totem and was super excited, but it required 3 other totems. i never even got offered 2 other totems. Pacing is weird in the 200-300 range. I also dont think that the temple should require so much, honestly it should be default. my first reset i got 4 blight gems, my second was 4 blight gems. my third was 4,000. why? its not perfect, but its fun i hope the dev/devs fix the issues.
Can already tell this game will be a gem. Having a blast and love the mechanics already implicated. Will update further after playing further.
RNG is brutal. Prepare to have multi-hour runs absolutely destroyed.
