sadly its dead I would avoid but the game used to be a lot of fun
I have around 3000hours on my quest, play professionally in VRML for AGM EU and this game is absolute booty cheeks. Annoying "quest kids" and yes, I know that these are the people who keep the game alive. We need a flood of new players every time there's a sale, since the developers work at snail speed and release 2 updates per century, which makes older players who are waiting, go quit the game. Although the younger players are keeping the game alive, there should be harder punishments or at least attempts of minors buying the game. The gunplay feels nice though, the guns sound like ass cheeks. (Except for the newer ones) On quest the game feels absolutely low quality, with 2D gun textures, originating from the OG quest 1 version of the game (I play on Quest 3). The movement is where the game shines, good movement, very smooth and no input lag. The game overall gets a 3 out of 10 in terms of keeping players inside the community. The developers are supposed to keep it alive, not the countless Esports events or Milsim, we need updates. Just don't buy this unless the developers decide to put in the work needed to fix this buggy mess and get some content into the game and promote the multiplayer, there's been so much stuff added to singleplayer, like new AI (which sucks ass) and mercanary mode, which nobody asked for, although it's kinda cool? but very repetetive.
TO ALL DEVS EVER. Quit ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ downgrading your games!!! Larian Studios didn't sellout too Meta JUST SAYING. META SELLOUTS!!! Really too bad. Y'all should've stuck it out for even more profit instead of just taking a check like a spineless shill. Yuck! Do not buy this game. Do not support Facebook or "Meta" (cringe af name zucc)
This game is getting increasingly better each update. It had a terrible downfall around 2 years ago when they were trying to fix lag issues for Oculus and PC versions of this game, and thank goodness that they are giving us PC'VR players better graphics compared to Oculus again.
Children plague the game screaming profanities, buggy, only full auto weapons, looks disgusting, trailer lied, update logs lied.
It use to be fine and then after the 2.0 update kids with mod menus have been running rampant and screwing everything up. and uh most people are just not that nice since yknow people TwT
makes me sad what happened to this game. i havent tried to start it yet but the first hand experience i had when it became obvious they were targeting standalone headsets first made me really sad. game might not even work anymore on PCVR. game has not seen an update for a few years now. unfortunately i have to not recommend this, due to a lack of guaranteed future support from the dev.
