DO NOT BUY! Although the idea of this game is genius, the physics while playing the game are painful, you can barely control your chosen off road vehicle! This is sad that this has happened in a game, cuz physics its key to making most games successful.

has potential, but the auto camera jumping around ruins the fun. The physics of the bouncy vehicle needs addressed too.
just got the game today very plez i did . iam not playing in vr but with xbox controler . just a simply but challenging game . the game will run better if you turn the setting a little lower then max . all in all a very good game.
absolut scheisse
Errrm, it doesn't work...
Is your life free of frustration? Have you had enough of the words calm and relaxing? Do you hate not having anything to scream at? Boy do I have the game for you. This is way more of a puzzle game than an offroad game. You use the physics of a mostly ballistic vehicle to solve short puzzles, which often amounts to 5-15 second runs once you figure out what to do. In many of the levels, it boils down to how well you lined up the vehicle and how much speed you carried. There are a few stages where rock crawling skill is utilized, but the caveat here is that when it comes to simulating rock crawling the game is way too arcade feeling. It's like they were plugging in values for traction, mass, torque, and damping but used comical amounts of each. Basically, the driving version of human fall flat. Driving feels more like you're vectoring thrust in an origami truck with bouncy balls for tires in a low gravity environment. You have open differentials, which means every time you need traction you don't have it...yet a car length worth of 45deg boulder and all four tires contacting is enough traction to launch your vehicle into near earth orbit if you use full throttle. The bounciness of these vehicles is ridiculous, especially the Jeep. Shocks are completely absent from the physics model. Get the Jeep square in the middle of some logs, stop completely, and it'll eventually bounce its own way off the logs. In some of the microgravity levels, this bouncing is the primary antagonist to completion. Gameplay is less about skill and more about how many times you can try something before you get fed up and rage quit. A bit like basketball or pong trick shot videos that took hundreds of takes before they finally got one right. You launch your vehicle with tiny variations of point of aim and speed enough times, and eventually you'll make contact with the flag and go to the next level. You might make it on the first try, you might never be able to do it again, and then you might spend a few hours trying to get the little totem too. The totems are bonus rewards that give you different paint schemes and tires or other little upgrades, sometimes new vehicles...but you have to collect those AND finish the level for them to count. Some levels are easy to finish but insanely frustrating to finish with a totem. Some levels, the totem is easy to get but finishing the level takes so many attempts that you're too frustrated to bother spending the extra five seconds to back up and get it. Don't expect to finish levels with an undamaged vehicle, or even a remotely salvageable vehicle. It's just a means to an end. Launch that puppy and make it splat on the flag if you have to. A side note....I've seen other reviews about the game crashing on a particular level with a pile of logs. I have a higher end computer and that level will slow frame rate down to one frame every three seconds the second I touch that pile of logs. Try not to touch the logs and you should be okay. Buy it for $5. Maybe buy it for $10 if this kind of game is your jam. Don't buy it for $20 regardless, it's not worth it at that price point.
