Octodad: Dadliest Catch is a game about destruction, deception, and fatherhood. The player controls Octodad, a dapper octopus masquerading as a human, as he goes about his life. Octodad's existence is a constant struggle, as he must master mundane tasks with his unwieldy boneless tentacles while simultaneously keeping his cephalopodan...

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 22 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Title is very misleading. You apparently play as an octopus in disguise but it seems more like a simulation of a normal human father. Very original joke haha funny.
I remember playing this when it was freeware way back in the day. I just now got around to playing this version. This game lives up to the potential the freeware version posed. The game is short, but appropriate for this style of game.
challenged myself to play under two hours and did it in under 1:45 twas infact the most hectic experience but most lovely experience of all time
Probably one of the most charming games I've played it could have so easily sucked but it's great the gameplay is what it looks like it never felt annoying for me to play it is pretty short though
100% recommend. If you are the kind of person who likes comedy with depth, surprisingly, this is for you! Octodad is charming, the graphics aren't that bad in my personal opinion, and it has a lovely story that makes you want to hear the resolution. It's hard to control, I LOVE that. Obviously, that's the selling point but I was NOT prepared! I really do recommend this game. I remember years ago watching people play, and I was a little worried it'd be one of those games that are fun to watch, but boring to play. I was completely wrong! It is sooo much fun, and I will definitely be replaying for the achievements, and just to mess around some more! my original review was gonna be: i will sell my kidney for more of Octodad
