Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Precioso y divertido.
Developed by 赤瞳大白猫 and 猫尾巴制作组 and published by 赤瞳大白猫, Nyaruru Fishy Fight is an indie Metroidvania that manages to stand out in a crowded genre through a combination of exceptional mobility, demanding combat, charming visual design, and a surprisingly ambitious narrative. What initially appears to be a cheerful adventure starring a catgirl wielding a giant fish quickly reveals itself to be a far deeper experience filled with challenging gameplay systems, extensive exploration, and unexpected story developments. It is a game that constantly defies first impressions, offering much more substance than its playful appearance might suggest. The story centers on Nyaruru, a genuine catgirl who finds herself investigating a strange magical curse that has transformed the residents of a small town by giving them cat ears and tails. While the setup initially feels whimsical and humorous, the mystery gradually evolves into a more complex narrative involving hidden truths, unusual characters, and darker themes. The game frequently contrasts its adorable aesthetic with more serious storytelling elements, creating an experience that feels unpredictable and intriguing. Players expecting a simple lighthearted adventure may be surprised by how much narrative ambition lies beneath the surface. One of the game's most impressive achievements is its movement system. From the early stages of the adventure, Nyaruru possesses a remarkable degree of mobility. Double jumps, air dashes, and various traversal techniques make exploration feel fluid and enjoyable. Rather than forcing players to wait for dozens of hours before movement becomes satisfying, the game embraces speed and agility almost immediately. This design choice creates a strong sense of freedom that remains engaging throughout the entire experience. The responsive controls contribute significantly to this success. Every jump, dash, and attack feels precise, allowing players to execute complex maneuvers with confidence. The game's platforming sections benefit enormously from this responsiveness. Difficult jumps rarely feel unfair because failures are usually the result of player error rather than inconsistent controls. This reliability encourages experimentation and helps make exploration consistently rewarding. Combat is equally impressive. Nyaruru's fish-shaped weapon serves as the foundation for a combat system that is far more sophisticated than it initially appears. Players can chain together attacks, launch enemies, perform aerial maneuvers, and utilize advanced movement techniques during combat encounters. Battles reward aggressive play and mechanical skill, encouraging players to master both offensive and defensive options. The result is a combat system that remains engaging throughout the entire adventure. Enemy encounters become increasingly varied as the game progresses. Different opponents require different approaches, preventing combat from becoming repetitive. Some enemies demand precise timing, while others challenge players through movement patterns or environmental positioning. This variety keeps encounters interesting and encourages players to make full use of the abilities available to them. The boss battles deserve particular recognition. Each major encounter feels carefully designed to test different aspects of the player's skill set. Some bosses focus on movement and evasion, while others emphasize pattern recognition or strategic use of abilities. These fights often serve as major highlights of the adventure because they combine challenge, creativity, and memorable visual design. Defeating a difficult boss feels genuinely rewarding and reinforces the sense of progression that drives the experience forward. Exploration follows the traditional Metroidvania formula while maintaining enough individuality to feel fresh. The world is interconnected and filled with hidden paths, optional collectibles, upgrades, and secrets waiting to be discovered. New abilities gradually unlock access to previously inaccessible areas, encouraging players to revisit earlier locations and search for missed opportunities. This progression structure creates a satisfying sense of discovery that remains central to the experience. Character progression extends beyond simple exploration. Various upgrades, accessories, and collectibles allow players to strengthen Nyaruru and customize certain aspects of gameplay. These improvements provide meaningful rewards for exploration and give players additional motivation to thoroughly investigate every corner of the world. Finding a powerful upgrade often feels as rewarding as defeating a difficult enemy. The visual presentation is one of the game's most immediately appealing qualities. The colorful anime-inspired art style gives the world a distinct identity, while character portraits and animations add personality to the cast. Environments are varied and attractive, helping maintain visual interest throughout the adventure. Despite operating within a relatively modest indie budget, the game succeeds at creating a world that feels lively and memorable. The soundtrack complements the gameplay effectively. Exploration themes help establish atmosphere, while combat music adds energy to boss encounters and challenging battles. The audio design consistently supports the emotional tone of each scene, enhancing both the lighter and darker moments of the narrative. One of the most surprising aspects of the game is its willingness to explore more mature themes. As the story progresses, it introduces narrative elements that contrast sharply with the cheerful aesthetic. This combination of cute visuals and darker storytelling creates a unique atmosphere that helps distinguish the game from many of its contemporaries. The contrast often makes important story moments more impactful because they arrive when players least expect them. However, the game is not entirely without flaws. Certain sections of exploration can occasionally become confusing, particularly when progression depends on discovering hidden routes or understanding mechanics that are not immediately obvious. Players unfamiliar with Metroidvania design may find themselves unsure of where to go next during some portions of the adventure. The difficulty can also be demanding. While many players will appreciate the challenge, others may find certain bosses and platforming sequences significantly harder than expected. The game often expects strong mechanical execution, especially during later stages. Those seeking a more casual experience may occasionally become frustrated by the level of precision required. Translation quality is another area where minor issues appear. While the overall narrative remains understandable, some dialogue contains awkward phrasing and grammatical inconsistencies. These problems rarely interfere with gameplay but can occasionally reduce the impact of certain story moments. Nyaruru Fishy Fight is a remarkable indie title that combines adorable aesthetics with surprisingly challenging gameplay and thoughtful storytelling. Its fluid movement, memorable boss encounters, extensive exploration, and unexpected narrative depth make it one of the more distinctive entries in the modern Metroidvania genre. While occasional translation issues and moments of confusion prevent it from reaching absolute perfection, the overall experience remains highly rewarding. For players who enjoy exploration-driven action games with strong platforming mechanics and a willingness to challenge expectations, Nyaruru Fishy Fight is an adventure well worth experiencing.
