About
Nuclear Option is a combat flight game set on a dynamic and realistic battlefield of the near future. Use an array of advanced weapons to change the course of battles as you intercept bombers, duel fighters, fly under the radar, or unleash the fury of nuclear weapons on enemy formations.
Each aircraft comes with an immersive cockpit featuring a situational awareness HUD, identifying nearby targets and threats. Aircraft can be flown with various controllers or with a mouse-controlled "virtual joystick", requiring no special hardware.
Experience realistic flight dynamics, with stalls, spins and g-force effects fully implemented, as each aircraft is composed of up to 50 individually simulated physics parts . A highly detailed damage model means that the condition of each part affects the way your aircraft flies.
Build your own missions using the included mission editor, and then fly your mission solo or with friends in PVP or PVE multiplayer combat.

Gem alert guys!!!
my first gameplay here , just purchased but it looks verry nice so far. if i could click the cockpit buttons i would almost say: looks like DCS World. no problem on the x56 rhino hotas and headtrack also works without problems. what can i say? CONGRATS DEV,S on all the work yall did a great job there, the release was in 2023 and i wondering why i didnt noticed this game earlyer lolll. anyway so far i give it a 10/10. the only thing i am missing is a F16 viper (perhaps in later update? somewhere?) i hope so lol. so far i RECOMMEND this game for pilots that are not realy pilots like DCS but just want a quick start and fly around. graphic are also fine.

I LOVE PIOU PIOU PIOU WITH PLANE GOOD GAME GO GO GO
Absolute PEAK gameplay the ability to hook up my controller and fly is so amazing and yes k&m players can play and be good
10/10 mix of flight simulator and cinematic action. You are a single air unit (helicopter, gunship, jet, bomber) in a in a massive combined arms battle. There are tanks, IFVs, bunkers, and dynamic shifts in territory driven by NPCs. Both sides compete for control of airports. You choose your own targets, take off from the air field, fly the 20+ kilometers, and send your missiles/bombs/cannon fire to the target. There's also great air-to-air combat. You co-operate with other people in a group of 16 or 32. You can have someone on a radar jamming high-flier while you cruise with a stealth jet 50 m above the ground and take on the big boys. Cruisers, Destroyers, and Carriers. You will die a lot, and your ordinance will get shot down before it lands a lot. But it's action-packed the whole time.
it's good
literally the most goated game
I enjoy this game for what it is, the reasons you can find in other reviews. However, there are things that annoy me to no end, which sometimes compound to frustrating situations. First of all, dealing with anti air defenses is designed in an interesting way. IR SAMs can be defeated with ordinance without a heat signature and radar defenses can be potentially jammed. This rock paper scissors game ends with the optical guided defenses which have to be defeated by spamming explosives at them. This is causing alot of frustration and boring trips back to base. Midrange jets suffer especially in multi-role due to their low IR flare count, high heat signature and low ordnanace loadout. More frustrating is the HUD, especially enemy markers. Threats should be more distinctly highlighted compared to defenseless objects, making them easier to identify and engage. The distance to objects should be easier conveyed to the player than it currently does. The flight direction of enemy aircraft when marked needs to be shown with an HUD icon because vision for the cockpit display can be obstructed by clouds and terrain. Lastly, i feel like i'm at a severe disadvantage by playing with a flightstick. The map and target filter are near unusable and slow to navigate without a mouse. I find myself reaching for my it often, which got me killed more times than i can count with two hands. More separate binds for functions are severely needed, being able to fire your gun on a separate key would already be a huge step up.
Great lite flight sim. not as complicated as DCS or others, and not supper grindy like warthunder.
