best game ive ever played i think this game is awsome

This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome, but it wont teach you ♥♥♥♥, so be prepared to watch a lot of youtube if you dont have a friend who already knows everything about this kinda stuff... Im serious.... You will be lucky to pass the 3rd mission with what the game itself actually teaches you....... But if youre already a vet pilot sim expert, shouldnt have any issues whatsoever. If you arent into this ♥♥♥♥ as a hobby or career, you WILL struggle. "GOOD LUUUUUCK~!"

This game is incredible. It stands in TOTAL opposition to what modern market has normalized. It feels deep and almost unknown in a sense, gives the same feeling of richness as games made with love 20 years ago. It bamboozles you, positively. The sense of SCALE is IMMENSE. It also is incredibly lightweight to run - now of course it will hammer on your PC when you crank up the unit count but loading screens are still nonexistent, menu boots instantly, it takes up less than 2 gigs on the disk. Compare that to the pathetic stinky pieces of dung with hollow graphics thaht corporate gaming industry keeps churning out. It's incomparable. It also does not run on unreal engine so that's a gigantic benefit for this game, graphics are sharp instead of being a blurry mess. It also has a mission editor with Steam Workshop. I like the VTOL Tarantula so I made a silly mission with 40 of them dogfighting with canons between skyscrapers - fulfills my wild fantasies between rich and grounded official scenarios. And for me personally, I used to play battlefield games and thought they were good balance of arcade and realistic touch. Boy I was wrong. This game NAILS realism while also being gamyfied in ways that prevent realism from becoming a chore. It's absolutely genius. It makes other games with jets and helicopters attempting to have a realistic tint feel like wasted effort. Seriously, I know it's a hot take but that's how bland they feel to me in comparison to Nuclear Option. The only area I am not so sure about is jet design - don't get me wrong I love them and I believe they are grounded in reality, on par with game's mechanics but I am not sold on the details. How is Darkreach considered a stealth bomber with jet turbines exposed frontally? Remember the turbines of the F-15 have higher radar signature than the airframe itself so... Also dedicated air brakes on stealth jets? You typically don't have them because the more seams for moving parts in the "skin" of a stealth aircraft the less effective stealth becomes. That's why seams of weapon bays on real stealth aircraft are shaped into a saw teeth pattern - to deflect radar waves and they increase cost and maintenance. But these are just my nerdy nitpicks. I think the ART direction is world-class for the designs in this game, even if it sacrifices a tiny bit of realism. So if you love realistic physics, modern military technology, jets, missiles, high-tech alarms sounding in the cockpit, pick up this game. Cheers.
