Extremely good Ultima-like for the old school gamer (most of my playtime is through the Nox Companion app which is just an alternate way to run the game that now includes an annotatable automap option). Unbelievably high quality labor of love
I've actually been waiting for an old school looking Ultima-like game to come up. Looks like this is it - I have been served. Auto-buy for this guy.

Very nice old-school game so far. I'm using alternative emulator (Nox Companion) for better quality and QoL stuff, hence my real time played won't be displayed here.
Oh man, oh man. This really brings me back. Although my family was way too poor to have a PC back in the 80s and into early 90s, I do remember playing stuff like Legacy of the Ancients in grade school and much later Ultima on the NES. I adore this. If I could have this on mobile that'd be awesome. As it stands I highly recommend for those who are looking for a door into yesterday and how we used to play RPGs or anyone looking for just some good old nostalgia. Ultima vibes through and through. Be ready to take some notes though. If you want quest markers or hand holding, this may not be for you. Super fun, super authentic to yesteryear, and super recommended. Great job!
I love it! ;D + authentic Apple //e experience + old-school CRPG with great gameplay & mechanics + very nice graphics + great extras: manual, maps, hintbook + all beautifully done!
its very very good.
imagine you create a old school game and nobody wants to play it because you create it that way. crappy controls, crappy ui ans crappy expierence. well here you are
It's a modern retro RPG. It is stunning what they have achieved and it's certainly worth the time of any RPG lover.
If you're a fan of old RPGs like the early Ultima games, you will probably love this game. I've been playing on my actual Apple ][c hardware and also on my Linux pc. (saves don't sync with steam, but you can move the file over manually) I've never seen a game that can be played on the actual vintage hardware. The graphics and music match the old look as does the gameplay. If you're a fan of the older rpgs, give this a shot!
