Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 8.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great story
Nobody Wants to Die surprised me in the best way possible. The world it builds is fascinating, but what really hooked me was the story. Set in New York City in 2232, humanity has achieved a form of immortality by transferring a person’s memories and consciousness into a new body. It sounds like the perfect future, but the game does an amazing job showing the dark side of that technology. The government controls who gets to live on. Wealthy and influential people can easily secure new bodies, while ordinary citizens must pay an expensive annual subscription once they reach adulthood. If they can’t afford it, they lose everything. It’s a brilliant concept that raises interesting questions about power, inequality, and what it truly means to be human. The atmosphere, visuals, voice acting, and detective gameplay all come together perfectly. I genuinely enjoyed every moment and couldn’t stop thinking about the world after the credits rolled. If you enjoy story-driven games with deep world-building and a noir sci-fi atmosphere, I highly recommend this one.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 30: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I got this game as a Christmas gift in 2024 and jumped into it almost immediately. Is it a perfect game? No. Is it a fun one? Absolutely. It's short and pretty linear, and honestly I've never understood why a game has to be either a souls-like or a giant open world for people to take it seriously. Not every game needs 100 hours to be worth your time. Anyway, here's my full and honest review, at least from what I remember. The setting, the atmosphere, the voice acting, the graphics, and the gameplay are all fantastic. It nails the mood it's going for. It does stumble a bit. Some stretches feel lackluster, and the ending landed a little flat for me. But the highs more than make up for the lows. What really stands out is that this is the studio's first game. For a debut, it's genuinely impressive, and it makes me excited to see what they do next. If this is their starting point, I think they've got a bright future. 8/10
i miss my wife. this city ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks. i dream of frutiger aero. god, get me out of this place. im 120 years old
Playing this on the SteamDeck and only came across an iissue when in an area with a lot going on it drops frames a fair bit but only for a couple of seconds. Never changed any settings I think or I may have limited the fps to 30 or 60. The game is a 1940’s / 1950’s sci-fi noir type experience with you as a disgraced cop who gets sent to a crime scene by your boss in a city with flying old mobiles that gangsters used decades ago. The story is quite good and holds your attention better than some AAA games I’ve played which was a bonus as I hate games with weak stories as it’s like what’s the point of doing this if the story isn’t upto scratch. The mechanics in the game are well done with the tools you use to reconstruct scenes and X-ray etc make this game great. You can rewind a reconstruction and find clues within which will help you determine what happened. I’m only 3 missions in and thought I’d say this runs pretty well on the Steamdeck. I’ll update review once completed or I’ve done enough to allow me to put my experience down here.
It's a Ok game in a Great world.
Hra dokáže extrémně dobře navodit noir kyberpunkového světa a okamžitě uvěříte tomu, že jste detektiv a vyšetřujete vraždu. Velmi krátká adventurka, ale velmi povedená.
Short but very thrilling story-game that will keep you guessing what's truly going on most of the time. The murder scenes rarely are what they seem at first glance, and the ending is very fitting of a dystopian noir narrative. The visuals are stunning and the world is quite believable, all things considered. Immortality really comes at a price, that most cannot pay or are unwilling to pay, one way or another. I was a bit disappointed to discover the gameplay lasts only around 5 hours (a big longer to complete all the achievements though). Regardless, I enjoyed this interactive story, quality over quantity any time!
Pretty great
