Juego muy divertido con muy bonito estilo artistico y una historia corta pero entretenida, debo decir que por momento si me molestaban los controles pero puedo ser yo o el juego igual, apesar de todo muy buen juego, corto y con buena musica.
FYI: if you're prone to migraines, you might need to take several breaks like i did. there's a lot of flashing lights (especially when graffitis get added to your log) and the movement + camera controls are a bit jittery. the game is short (5-10h) and easy to finish though, so don't let that stop u :-] i think this is best described as "fun"! cast, worldbuilding, gameplay are lighthearted and full of whimsy that drives home how sincerely made the game is the difficulty kinda varies from fight to fight (i found the earlier fights were more complex compared to the latter ones) but all the boss fights are charming puzzles on their own. the game also has lots of cheesing support, if you're struggling to process. DK west fights were a struggle at least playing solo tho 😭 you can see how devs treasure the players (and vice versa) with how full of fanart the world is and i, too, became charmed by the game

maybe this is good as a single player experience for the combat but honestly the wonky camera angles are terrible for a non-online co-op game, the second players experience is majorly tarnished by it, not to mention buggy stuff. we got to the second stage and fell off the cliff and it just spawned us over a hole where we just fell to our death 9 times in a row forcing us to restart the stage, very frustrating for what seems like a decent experience of a game. Also the acting and storyline feel like its intended for a childrens cartoon, maybe kids enjoy this but i honestly found the dialogue and story too intrusive and way overstayed its welcome. and lastly, for a music and rhythm game, there's really no rhythmic part to the players input, it really does kinda feel like a basic hack and slash, very disapointing since it looked like a very fun game but sadly i cannot recommend especially as a co-op experience
A friend convinced me to do a full playthrough with them. DK West is one of the best boss encounters I've ever experienced. It's like HiFi Rush took a few points out of gameplay and put them in the sound track. I can't believe how lucky we are that we're getting a sequel.

Lovable characters and banger tracks. As a rhythm game enthusiast, I absolutely adored this game!
Bought for the coop, the camera is trash!
