Nine Sols is a lore rich, hand-drawn 2D action-platformer featuring Sekiro-inspired deflection focused combat. Embark on a journey of eastern fantasy, explore the land once home to an ancient alien race, and follow a vengeful hero’s quest to slay the 9 Sols, formidable rulers of this forsaken realm.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 36.29/day in the week to Jul 24 → 46.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

10/10 game, every boss better than the last, all forcing you to embrace the mechanics while still allowing a freedom of style and combat preference. the story is very good at feeling like every character interaction and lore grab is significant in its own way and not a waste or overly vague. also one of the few games where the final boss easily takes the number one spot in fun and satisfaction, and asks you to master the game while still being fair.
Juste 3h a suffit pour me rendre amoureux du jeu 😭 (franchement pas d'hésitation, prenez le jeu les yeux fermé)

While this game is commonly advertised as "Hollow Knight meets Sekiro" (to the point of the devs even name-dropping Sekiro in the description), I don't think that this description is exactly accurate. While the game is clearly a parry-focused, the parry system here works vastly different than in Sekiro. The Metroidvania aspects sadly leave a little bit to be desired as there is generally not really a reason to re-visit older areas after the second boss fight, since you get every upgrade necessary to finish an area on your first visit either directly before it or during it. However, the gameplay itself is really addicting and the best part is that it only gets better the longer you play (in stark contrast to RedCandle's first game Detention, which fell off harshly after the first act). It especially shines at the bosses (and minibosses), who will always test how well you have adapted to your new-found abilities. Make no mistake: These fights are HARD. REALLY hard. But once you figure them out, it feels so incredibly rewarding to be able to just completely style on them. Speaking of style: The strongest aspect about this game is imo definitely it's art direction. The designs are beautiful, the colours are vibrant and the music is always on point. The game takes a bit getting used to, but after the second boss I really couldn't stop myself from playing anymore. Fantastic game
