Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.86/day in the week to Aug 26 → 22.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Decided to give the game a try the night before 1.0 and frankly I'm extremely disappointed. The controls are so stiff and heavy. Your jump and fall speed are super fast, bouncing sends you up a full jump high but then instantly send you crashing back down at a very fast speed, making it so you need to spam attack to actually pogo. It feels really bad. The sound design is absolutely horrible. Almost everything sounds like stock sound effects or something AI generated. It's swing violently from super loud to quiet so much it makes me thing no one actually tested it. Not to mention a lot of stuff has it's sound cut off early for seemingly no reason. The first thing the game has you do is heal, and it sounds like it only plays half the effect before cutting out. The music and artwork really feel like that was where all the budget went. Neat cutscenes, emotional chord progression, it's all here. I really hope 1.0 and a few patches fit my problems like they were never there, but as of right now I'm refunding the game.

As someone who has 100%'d Ori 1 three times and Ori 2 four times, I have been hoping for something to scratch that itch of a beautifully crafted world in a Metroidvania. This game is very pretty and reeks of Ori influence so that helps it. But the Sound Design is APPALLING. Very stock-audio and LOUD, potentially AI-created. Plus the platforming is so damn stiff. The jump arch is so horrible. You jump then fall like 5-tons of bricks. The combat is very VERY stiff. Your main attack is disconnected. You hit your enemy twice then there's this infuriating pause before you can attack again. Maybe a few QoL updates later I'll try it again.

Been following the game since mid-Early access, now that the game has fully released it's time to review the game. Controls feels great, world is vast and varied with plenty do to and plenty to explore, a good progression system that encounrages exploration and a great story to keep you engaged, this game has plenty to love and plenty to recommend. beyond the game itself, the devs has been engaged with the community, listening to feedback and improving their game more and more with each update, not just adding content but acting on feedback and improving existing aspects of the game.
Hollow Knight but furries?. do not get me wrong, the game isnt bad but for double the price of hollow knight it is not worth it at all. it is way too similar for what its worth. imo nine sols and hollow are better choices
---See where this game landed on my Metroidvania Tier List beneath this rec!--- This is one of those metroidvanias that gets most of the basics right, yet was somehow very mid and ordinary. I would be comparing this to lesser games like Voidwrought rather than Hollow Knight, as the game doesn't really come close to the bigger hitters. Nothing about Fatal Claw really stood out in a positive way, except for perhaps a sad piano tune which played in one of the biomes. One thing that irked me was the lack of difficulty. ..and then right at the end, the last few bosses were suddenly a huge difficulty spike (after I had been killing most of the bosses on the first try). Late on there was also a platforming section or two that got a bit tricky. So there's not a good amount of challenge in the game until the very end, no difficulty curve, just the dials set at 1 or 10. ..well maybe that's slightly dramatic, let's say 3 or 9. As for exploration, the game marks missing treasures that you need to return for so I didn't feel the need to use my map markers except to mark a teleport point that I was too poor to activate one time (teleport points for some reason cost 300 currency to activate). I don't have much else to say about this game. After a jump your character falls back down really fast which didn't feel the best at first, but was a minor irk moreso than a problem. You can pogo on enemies and they don't have any recourse, they just walk side to side while you abuse them. Once you beat the final boss, it starts a new game with all of your map still explored and teleport points unlocked. The game also respawns the bosses and NPC quest locations (none of these are marked on your map, you have to remember where they were). In this new game there are new collectables spawned all over the map, but having already explored all of these places it just felt like arbitrary busy-work, so this is where I noped out on the game. I had killed all of the bosses and explored almost all of the map once already at this point. There isn't enough space in a Steam Rec to post my entire Tier List, so I cut off the bottom tiers and just left the games I liked. I strongly believe this game, and its developer NDev Games, need to be given MUCH more attention than what we see in the current numbers, because Fatal Claw has the potential to be one of the best metroidvanias out there. First of all, I am a 45yo gamer with a passion for metroidvanias. I've played tens of them, including all the ones that matter (it's impossible to keep up nowadays), so I have quite a bit of experience in them. I also don't usually write reviews, but I think this game deserves an exception because of its incredible quality. I backed this game in Kickstarter due to NDev's ambition to make a game at the quality level of HK/Silksong but without being a straight copy of it. I was instantly convinced by its aesthetics, the clean and top quality graphics, and simply the passion NDev were putting in it. I was very disappointed to see they only got a bit of money from the Kickstarter, but they decided to build it anyway. Just yesterday I decided to give it a go in Early Access and... holy mother of dragons!! Is the game a new Silksong? Well, no, it's not. But it's damn close to HK quality when it was released. Being able to mimic the brilliancy of HK and Silksong, making biomes alive, interactive, part of a story, with high quality soundtrack and top graphic design... This is extremely complicated and hard to pull off. And yet, NDev grabbed a few scraps of money from the Kickstarter campaign, told everyone "hold my beer", and built what I'm certain will be one of the best metroidvanias in years. Progression is constant and gratifying as you can absorb the essence of each boss to get more abilities. Biomes are perfectly blended, with a lot of interactive elements. Story so far is quite good. Graphics and animations are absolutely top. Dubbing and music are also top quality, melancholic and cryptic, very HK as well. Is it perfect? Well, not yet. For example my biggest issue is that I am having a hard time with jumping. Gravity seems to pull your character very hard, falling faster than we're used to in other games, making it feel a bit artificial. Because of this, pogoing is also quite hard to master, but once you do, you can easily abuse it to hammer even strong enemies. Still, I think this game deserves media and public attention so Ndev can keep working on it and hopefully make more. Yes guys I'm already thinking what you're gonna do next because I'm sure you're gonna pull a Silksong there. WELL DONE!!
so far i feel like everything in this game is super mid. The movement is ok but doesn't feel as nice as games like hollowknight or blasphemous. The sound design is really bad in my opinion. Some sounds are much louder than others and it's distracting at times. The bit of the story i have seen so far is very uninspired and super cliche. I haven't really enjoyed the bosses so far. Just feels like "hollow knight at home" so far. I do plan to play it more though.
