Ni no Kuni Wrath of the White Witch™ Remastered

Superb game

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is a game I can recommend for the age range it was designed for. This is truly an RPG lovingly crafted to tell a story for young children and built around the idea of a much younger crowd. Don't expect to be challenged by the gameplay, the themes of the game, or by any of the puzzles that it throws your way, if you're over the age of ten. Where the game excels is introducing difficult subject matters, divorce, survivor's guilt, spousal abuse, eating disorders, depression, etc, and making them child-friendly and creating heart-warming resolutions to them. The storylines are easily digestible and offer moral lessons that would be great to sit down and enjoy with a young child, and even playing alone as an adult, can tug a heart string. Sadly, if you strip back the child-like wonder of the Ghibli visuals, the pacing of the game is incredibly bad and the gameplay itself is dull and devoid of much meaningful interaction. While I know the White Witch portions of the story were added in later and not part of the original game, it's painfully obvious how tacked on it is. The pacing also suffers from how abysmal the experience gain in the game is. You don't need to grind much along the way, but actually having a very powerful team is a slog to achieve. As an adult, this game feels tedious. But if I was playing it with a young child, I can see how much wonder and excitement it would give. How it could work to teach valuable life lessons and how handle problems, and how they'd giggle at some of the silly monster designs. Its a definite buy for a youngster interested in the world of Roleplaying Games, but isn't ready to get thrown into deeper philosophical questions or overly complex mechanics. Its safe. Its cozy. Its not too challenging, and you won't have to answer any weird questions about it. Meanwhile, for teenagers and up, it's going to feel a bit too babyish to hold much interest.

Beautiful animation and story. Enjoyable characters. This is a game I have wanted for years and now finally have a chance to play. What a wonderful experience

Love the game, Like the story, love its game music

Gioco magnifico al quale sto rigiocando dopo averlo finito "ai tempi" su PS3. Il gameplay a me piace molto, ma capisco che possa non piacere (si ha ogni tanto la sensazione di dover navigare menù il più velocemente possibile). Storia, ambientazione (le cutscene!!!) e "mostriciattoli" semplicemente magnifici. Il porting è buono, anche se la navigazione di alcuni menù (adesso non saprei fare un buon elenco) fa trasparire come il tutto non sia pensato per giocare con il mouse. Consigliatissimo

Pra quem curte J-RPG esse jogo é um prato cheio e indispensável , o estilo gráfico do jogo é muito bonito e a história também é muito boa de se acompanhar , para quem sempre quis jogar Ni no Kuni e não jogou por receio de não ser em português brasileiro , não se preocupe , pois já existe tradução completa do jogo não oficial para o nosso idioma , basta dar um google ou pesquisar no youtube que esse problema está resolvido , muito recomendado!
