Dead game. No updates in almost a year now.
If you are looking for a simple city builder set in the middle-ages, this is the game for you. You won't need much creativity and the balancing of resources and production is pretty simple. Graphics are nice, but it did feel like a bit of practice in mouse-clicking. Maybe I didn't get far enough to enjoy, but wasn't quite active enough for me.

I had alot of fun with this one until an update raised the graphics requirements that made the game a slideshow on my travel laptop, it is pretty old so Im not mad any. Definitely get it before it is delisted, it's a good game as is but the dev has thrown in the towel. I wish him the best on his next project!
If you want a chill city builder to relax its for you.
まだまだコンテンツ不足が否めないです。 ゲーム自体にやり甲斐がなく、難易度も低いのでのめり込む事もない。 今後のアップデートに期待ですね。
As a huge fan of city builders such as Anno 1800, Banished, Foundation and Dawn of Men, the Medieval times are my one of favorites. So when I came across New Home: Medieval Village, I thought it looked promising (especially for only $10), so I decided to give it a try. I initially played it once and because it was in early access, it was a bit too glitchy for my taste so I didn't play again until now (two years later). There has been quite a few updates since I last played and after 15 hours of playing I think if the next update could include some of the features below, this game has the potential to be an amazing game! * Village Center * More trade options to buy what we can't grow or raise * More free decorations and entertainment, like festivals, play grounds, ball games, sports etc. * More levels to unlock * Fishing boats for more meat variety * Villagers actually wearing clothes made by the tailors * Setting option to remove zoning or the ability to upgrade houses instead of zones * Stables for horses, donkeys or oxen to work in the fields or pull carts * Carriage maker to making carriages (for the wealthy), trade carts, wheel barrows, and/or buggies etc. * Wider roads to accommodate people, carts and buggies * Better way of locating buildings placed by the players
Too bad it's no longer supported. This game had much potential. I played when it was first released but stayed away as more of the game developed only to hear this. Such a disappointment and a great loss!
not a bad game needs content but not bad for EA Better in some aspects than MANOR LORDS in terms of updates and games progress. if you want a no frills builder then this is one for you.
Nice looking fully functional game - it is worth what I paid for it, its impressive for a single person developer as well. The editor functionality is good as well. I do recommend - other people whinging about limitations would only be right if this cost like $30+ but it does not it is £10.99 (presumably about 17 dollars USD)
