About
Neo Cab is a visual novel about emotional survival in an automated world.
You play as Lina, the last human cab driver. It’s your very first night driving the lonely streets of Los Ojos, and your best friend has just disappeared.
Is she in grave danger... or just the flakiest friend ever? Either way, now you need to find cash, a place to crash, and some answers.
Your only leads are the diverse cast of characters you pick up in your cab, but getting them to open up isn’t always easy. The anarchist punks don’t trust you, the corporate yuppies don’t see you, and the cops won’t leave you alone. But if you can balance honesty, empathy, and your own emotional health, you might just learn their secrets.
Can you survive late-stage capitalism long enough to save your friend?
STAY ON THE ROAD. STAY ON THE SEARCH. STAY HUMAN.
Every pax is a puzzle. Whether you like them or not, everyone has their own story to tell.

Lina’s best course for survival is to keep driving. Piece together what has happened to Savy as you help Lina navigate the city grid.

Each passenger interaction will affect Lina’s mood; as her emotions become more intense, some choices will be taken away, while other choices will be unlocked.

Neo Cab features a branching narrative with pax stories written by Leigh Alexander, Kim Belair, Bruno Dias, Duncan Fyfe, Paula Rogers & Robin Sloan.
Featuring an original soundtrack by Obfusc (Monument Valley, House of Cards).
Sums Steam only; GOG, Nintendo publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Reviews
Some of the characters were relatable. Some of the stories felt sad. It's a chill game. I like how the ratings and money was used as means to tell the story. Some of the emotion changes happened way too fast. Like really, I'm happy now, after what just happened? The game gives you this impression of choice, but it feels like it's all scripted and you actually can't make any difference. Especially the conclusion felt off. The choices they made didn't make much sense to me.
Why did she insist on coming together to deliver the data in the end? Felt like a pointless risk. And their argument felt really out of place, in the middle of doing this world changing whistle blowing.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I loved this game!!! the story was awesome. Big fan!
Cool story game, I like it.
Amazing visuals and concept. Storyline was okay. Not happy with the lack of choices, why make it an option if the game won't let us click that option because of the emotion we are feeling? I also was not a fan of how similar a lot of the choices were to each other. Felt like I really only had one path I could go down. This game has amazing potential though.
Honestly, an enjoyable game, though it does quite a bit of shoehorning and I personally don't dig the art style, but it makes for an interesting cyberpunk capitalistic dystopia vn
I'm not going to rave about it, but overall, I enjoyed the game. I quite like the visuals, and the animation style they chose is a really effective way for a low budget project to have characters who feel comparatively dynamic and expressive. Also, most of the writing is decent enough, the NPCs and the topics they want to talk about are sufficiently varied and interesting, and I found several of them pretty entertaining. It could certainly do with a bit more subtlety at times, but the more philosophical themes are imaginative enough to be engaging, while the more down-to-earth ones include some ideas that are rarely addressed in games. One negative point for me is that your choices usually feel extremely inconsequential, but on the other hand it annoyed me on a few occasions that a completely innocuous choice somehow translates as your character acting in a way which you never would have imagined - in minor cases totally missing your intended tone for a conversation, and in more significant ones sometimes treating people completely differently than you wanted to, which can result in ending a ride or otherwise cutting off paths that you expected (and wanted) to continue exploring. All of that said, I have to add that the "standard" price really feels excessive. This is a pretty short and simple experience with very limited replay value, and the positives don't even nearly outweigh the negatives enough to justify the cost for what is on offer here. However, on sale it drops to 85% off, and I'd say it's worth picking up at that price.
I'm not very much into dialog-based games, but this one pulled me in: I never got the feeling that I should choose the "best" dialog option, but I just role-played the character as I imagined her to be. A really rewarding experience, with a great story abd very well writren characters that made me play through to one of the possible endings in one session. On top of that, I liked the visuals and thought the sound fits the mood of the game, plus there's a bit of strategy involved in keeping one's cab driver rating up and not running out of money. A great game that I'll be playng more to see all other endings and the other passengers I missed during my first playthrough.
