It breaks my heart to give a negative review to one of my all-time favorite PS3 games. The E3 trailer might still be the greatest trailer ever made, I still watch it occasionally! But this PC remaster is a letdown. The graphics are barely improved, if at all, and seem to be just upscaled. Worse, the game suffers from random, game-ruining freezes that can destroy a race in an instant. Achievements take up to a full minute to unlock, if they unlock at all. And then there’s the online mode, which remains as frustrating as ever. Lobby wait times are endless, you can’t choose a specific lobby, just hit "Find" and hope for the best. As with most online games, the community is toxic, and cheating is rampant. This isn’t unique to this game, but it’s time to stop tying achievements to multiplayer. If the online achievements weren’t mandatory, I’d have happily ignored this mess. Oh one last thing, it is incredinly hard to run it on the Steamdeck because 99% of the time the EA launcher will mess up the focus with its overlay and the game will be irresponsive (I worked around by playing with the volume button and touching the screen simultaneously). This stupid launcher... It’s a real shame, because the offline career, especially as a cop, is still incredibly fun!

A fairly well done remaster. The driving physics are just ok but at least they don't suck. There's plenty of different races to keep you busy for a good while and honestly I had a lot more fun playing as a cop than I thought I would. The different utilities made things a little more interesting but also kinda blur the lines between racing game and kart racer. Not a bad racing game but felt like not really a great one either.
A great game for those who enjoy the racing aspect - this is all race, no story, no open world, and it's difficult. A lot of races where the Gold medal really pushes you and takes 6+ attempts. If you enjoy other NFS games such as Payback or Heat, maybe this one ISN'T for you - Hot Pursuit Remastered has no storyline, and nothing to do except for racing. Regardless - a polished remaster. I have not noticed any problems launching the game or getting controllers to work, nor have I had any problems with the EA App integration. Recommended to play with a controller - supports all Xbox and XInput controllers, including 8bitdo. Tested with 8bitdo Pro 3.
Чудова можливість згадати 2010 рік і якраз зіграти в NFS Hot Pursuit. Це, звісно, не найкраща частина, але, попри те, що гра вийшла в один рік із такими легендами, як Mafia II, BioShock 2, Alan Wake і Call of Duty: Black Ops, все одно вона мені запам’яталася і свого часу дуже подобалася. Сама гра досить проста. Тут немає складної історії, прокачки на сто годин чи якихось зайвих механік. Є досить швидкі, аркадні траси на 2–5 хвилин. Дві кар’єри — за копа і гонщика. Взагалі якоїсь великої різноманітності тут немає: що за одних, що за інших — однакові траси. Але мені, напевно, це і подобається в грі — її простота. Коли можна просто поганяти, послухати музику, а не думати, як краще затюнінгувати і прокачати машину. З мінусів мені дуже не подобаються постійні зміни фокусу камери, коли хтось потрапляє в аварію чи поліція стоїть на дорозі. Зазвичай після того, як камера повертається до моєї машини, я майже постійно в когось врізався, бо не міг контролювати машину в цей момент. А в іншому ж усе доволі непогано. Графіка трішки застаріла, але, враховуючи, що в ремастері практично ніяких змін, а сама гра 2010 року, вона виглядає досить приємно. Красиві гори, пляжі та ліси. This game is absolute cinema, the graphic is amazing, the car is so beautiful and the car sound is absolutetly goated. This game is recommend for people that want to play in single player, the think i don't like is the Online Mode. Because, i don't have friends and the online mode need a fast internet, if you don't have internet that so fast, you will be kick at the start of the race, knda sad actually, but overall this game is so good man that need for speed 2012, is easy to get 9/10 even 10/10

Cheating on a casual racing game released 14 years ago is diabolical to say the least. Speaks much on behalf of today's gaming society. Game still hits like the first time you played it tho... Absolute Banger!
[b] Поганий ремастер поганої гри [/b] Спершу я думав, що це ремастер третьої частини Жаги Швидкості, бо мені здавалося, що існує лише два види Гарячих Переслідувань: 1998 та 2002 року. Переглянувши відполірований динамічний трейлер, я захопився й вирішив спробувати. Трошки погравши, отримав змішані враження й бажання розібратися детальніше. Виявилося, що це ремастер п'ятнадцятої гри франшизи 2010 року випуску! І його майже не відрізнити від оригіналу! Графіка тут відверто погана й має ліміт в 60 FPS. Ігролад - дуже примітивний... Складається враження, що імпонує вона лиш тим, хто має до неї ностальгічні почуття. Фанати переважно хвалять автолог та кросплатформний мультиплеєр, які дають грі друге дихання після завершення кар'єри. Я ж цими фішками не користувався, бо кількох гонок за копа та рейсера мені було цілком достатньо. Не рекомендую.
Amazing experience overall so far for $6. Glad this is still on here with the license deals.
