I would rather stick my tongue in a volcano and wait for lava to mold onto it than play this game. If you come from any 2K before 2k25, don't even consider buying this crap. Unless you LOVE being 8 inches taller than your opponent, jumping on them with high perimeter and block at the 3 line and their shot somehow being wide open. Don't forget their servers! With 1GB Fiber Optic internet, somehow this game never fails to make me lag out. When you lag out enough due to their servers being ran on one PC and a dream, you will get banned from playing for a while. Once you get "unbanned" it will still leave you unable to play anything online for 10 more minutes AT LEAST. Also, if you like to dunk, this game isn't for you. Unlike older games where the dunk meter would be consistent, this one will shrink if you even LOOK at it, especially wide open! I love to go up for a dunk and have my meter disappear even when I have every contact dunk in the game, with nobody under the rim, and maxing out my meter. Don't even bother trying to contest someone, because without fail it will do absolutely nothing, while also making sure that the people under 6'4 get access to a go to shot that breaks your ankles even if your hands are completely off of the controller. I heard 2k27 might fix some of these issues, but if we are being honest, probably not. I made the mistake of buying this game on sale because, why not? Don't play this game even if someone gives it to you for free, because you will absolutely hate it.

2k26 is the same game as all the 2k's before it. Its basically a big roster update but somehow they figured out a way to get the game to run worse. Playing with the same settings as 2k25, this game constantly has graphical hitches and uses way more of the GPU than necessary. Playing one game is constant microstutters,its so bad I just went back to 2K25 and just downloaded an updated roster
