So, my wife threw out my card collection (so I bought a dump to find them all lol)
It's boring. The upgrades soon get lame, and the whole game is based on a joke that might be funny for 5 seconds. I technically like cleanup/sorting games (House Flipper 1 & 2 or Leaf It Alone), but this game is just boring after the first trash mountain. Looking at the AI pictures of the achievements, I think this whole game may be AI-generated just to make fast and easy money. I played for 8 hours and would have to sort 3 trash mountains, but I would rather go to the city in a pizza costume and yell at everyone to eat more pizza than sort them. The bird collecting is already done after these trash mountains—birds which, by the way, clip into their nests. A real human who loves what they are doing would place them correctly in their nests and not like this. It is also very common to clip out of bounds or get trash and other items into unreachable positions. The developers haven't released a single update since launch, which also makes it seem like it's just a cash grab for them. If you unpack the game’s Unity bundle files, you get absolute confirmation of just how rushed, uncleaned, and slapdash this project actually is: - Wrong Project Name: The main executable is literally named TrashLover.exe, the core data folder is TrashLover_Data, and internal assets are named ilovetrash.png. They didn't even bother updating the product name in Unity before slapping an essay-length meme title on Steam. - Zero Asset Stripping & Massive Engine Bloat: - 128 Unused Controller Icons: Every single generic controller icon from the Rewired plugin (button_0 to button_127, hat_0 to hat_15) is packaged into the release, bloating the file count for no reason. - Internal Unity Watermarks: The build still ships with default engine watermark overlays like Trial Version, Not for release (proto), For educational use only (edu), Development Build (dev), and Made with Unity Beta (beta). - Third-Party Promo Banners: EP Outline logo.png—the promotional store banner from the Easy Performant Outline Unity Asset Store package—was never cleaned up and shipped straight to paying customers. - Uncleaned Workfiles & Russian Placeholders: The file list contains raw working files exported straight from drawing apps without renaming: Иллюстрация_без_названия.png (literally "Untitled_Illustration.png") along with г15.png and г20.png.

This game was surprisingly satisfying. There’s something so fulfilling about organizing and picking up trash, and it honestly made me wonder if people can really just buy dumps and make money off selling discarded items. Finding valuable pieces was fun, even if I didn’t always understand the social messaging behind them, and they did get repetitive after a while. The trading cards tied to streamers were cute, and I’m still not totally sure what the creature cards were about—but you definitely don’t need to be into either subject to enjoy the gameplay loop. The only part that irritated me was the dog mechanic. The dog should just be able to take items straight to storage instead of making things more complicated. And the instructions aren’t great—I didn’t even figure out the portal feature until I had already finished everything. Still, it’s a weirdly cozy, oddly satisfying game about cleaning up a dump and uncovering treasures. I enjoyed it.
why does it make you purchase each pile? doesn’t the title mention that you PURCHASED the dump? if you’re going to make it a requirement then AT LEAST set up restrictions for spending money on upgrades unless you have a pile actively unlocked. I spent over 2 hours on two piles and did a lot of upgrades without unlocking the third pile, so I was forced to start over??? broken game design. went straight to being uninstallled instead of starting over.

No real sense of pogression. No more updates, so you can't really use the cart because is really bugged. Songs got old fast. Would say it is a ia slop with some effort.
I give it a 'meh'. It's a good concept, however the upgrade system needs work. No matter how much you improve your skills, you are constantly drinking to regain energy. Fill a bag and a half up, drink. Rinse and repeat. Radio was the best part of the game.
If you just need to relax and not think, this game is amazing; simple, repetitive, with many little "Ooo, piece of candy" moments. The soundtrack is hilarious.
i love trash i'm the trash man with a dog that doesn't seem to do anything yum yum ymu trash
