About
My Fire Is Bigger Than Yours is a physics-based incremental game about growing a tiny fire until its bigger than the sun. It is a short, escalating experience about discovering synergies, experimenting with builds, and creating chaotic chain reactions.
Throw objects into the fire and keep it alive as the sun tries to drown it out
Adapt your strategy across 3 phases as your fire grows from a tiny campfire to a celestial force. Start your own cult to feed the flames, then expand your operation to the Moon.
Discover and unlock 200+ upgrades to create unique builds that change how your fire grows, spreads, and reacts.
Specialize in one flammable type, discover cascading reactions, or craft the perfect automated layout.
However you choose to grow, the Sun must be defeated.

Well made little game!

My Fire Is Bigger Than Yours turns one of humanity’s simplest discoveries into the foundation for an increasingly absurd incremental adventure. Developed and published by Punch Pancake, the game begins with the humble task of maintaining a small flame, but its ambitions quickly move far beyond ordinary fire management. The ultimate objective is wonderfully excessive: grow your fire until it can surpass the Sun itself. That premise immediately gives the game personality, while the mixture of incremental progression, physics-driven interactions, upgrades, automation, and experimentation keeps the concept from functioning as little more than a visual joke. At the beginning, progress feels deliberately modest. Players throw objects into the flames, search for useful fuel, and learn how different materials contribute to keeping the fire alive. The physical nature of these interactions makes the early stages more engaging than a conventional idle game built entirely around menus and counters. Objects occupy actual space, fire spreads visibly, and successful arrangements can produce satisfying chains of destruction. There is something inherently rewarding about watching a carefully prepared collection of combustible objects ignite and contribute to an increasingly uncontrollable blaze. The progression system gradually transforms this straightforward routine into something much larger. The game is divided into three major phases, allowing the scale of the operation to increase substantially as players advance. What starts as a campfire eventually involves gathering followers into a fire-feeding cult and pushing the operation beyond Earth toward the Moon. These escalating scenarios maintain a strong sense of forward momentum because advancement is represented by noticeable changes in scale rather than merely larger numerical values. The ridiculous premise becomes progressively more entertaining as the game commits completely to its cosmic objective. More than 200 upgrades provide much of the mechanical variety. Instead of simply purchasing identical percentage increases repeatedly, players can develop strategies around particular materials and combinations. Certain approaches favor specific categories of combustible objects, while others encourage chain reactions or increasingly efficient automated setups. This creates room for experimentation because the most obvious upgrade is not necessarily the most useful choice for every build. Finding combinations that dramatically improve the fire can provide some of the game's most satisfying moments. Automation becomes increasingly important as the operation expands. Initially, manually feeding the flames is part of the attraction, but performing every action personally would eventually become tedious. Building systems capable of handling repetitive tasks creates a welcome shift from direct interaction toward optimization. The player gradually feels less like someone tending a campfire and more like the architect of an enormous combustion machine. Watching a well-designed arrangement operate successfully provides a different kind of satisfaction from the active opening stages. Physics also gives the incremental mechanics a stronger visual identity. Growth is not represented exclusively through abstract statistics because the player can watch objects interact, burn, collapse, and contribute to larger reactions. This helps make experimentation immediately understandable. An inefficient setup often looks inefficient, while a successful chain reaction provides obvious visual feedback. The resulting chaos is part of the reward, giving the game a sandbox quality despite the clearly defined progression objective. The experience is designed to be relatively short compared with incremental games intended to consume hundreds of hours. That focus works well with the central premise because the escalation remains lively rather than becoming excessively repetitive. Players constantly working toward the next strange development are less likely to feel trapped in an endless grind. The tradeoff is that dedicated incremental fans searching for an enormous endgame may exhaust the available progression sooner than they would prefer. Much of the lasting appeal therefore comes from experimenting with different upgrades, layouts, efficiencies, and combinations rather than pursuing an infinite progression ladder. Its minimalist 2D presentation suits the mechanics effectively. The visual design does not attempt to overwhelm the player with unnecessary detail, leaving the growing flames, physical objects, and increasingly elaborate setups as the primary spectacle. This simplicity also supports the game's playful tone. The humor comes naturally from treating an obviously ridiculous objective with mechanical seriousness. Going from throwing ordinary objects onto a fire to building an operation capable of challenging something astronomical creates a satisfying contrast between simple presentation and enormous ambition. There are also 18 achievements to pursue, along with Steam Cloud and Family Sharing support. These additions fit the compact structure nicely, particularly achievements that can provide secondary goals for players interested in exploring more of the available systems. The game remains fundamentally a single-player experience, making it best suited to players who enjoy independently experimenting with systems and refining increasingly efficient setups. Steam Deck compatibility is currently listed as Unknown rather than carrying an official Verified or Playable classification. That means prospective handheld players should not interpret the absence of a compatibility rating as confirmation that every aspect will function perfectly. The game's relatively straightforward 2D presentation and control requirements may appear suitable for portable play, but official Steam Deck validation should be distinguished from anecdotal or potential functionality. Overall, My Fire Is Bigger Than Yours is a clever interpretation of incremental progression that benefits greatly from making growth physically visible. Its combination of more than 200 upgrades, three escalating phases, material specialization, automation, chain reactions, and physics gives players more to consider than the deliberately silly premise initially suggests. Its relatively compact length will appeal most to people who prefer an incremental game with a reachable destination rather than an endless commitment. The journey from maintaining a tiny flame to constructing an absurdly powerful inferno is consistently driven by experimentation and the pleasure of seeing increasingly efficient systems come alive. This game really proves my fire is bigger than yours. I appreciate them for that.
前两个阶段不错,第三阶段改动后体验好了不少,不过数值设计的依旧不太行,还没买满就通关了
Played the demo a long time ago and could not wait for the full release. Now that that is here, it was well worth the wait. Short (beat it in 5 hours), but incredibly fun incremental game, with satisfying progression. Would 100% recommend to others.
I brokke the game. Fun lil game. not much tho.
