MY ADAPTATION IN(TO) HUMAN

I was jumping between recommending this or not, but I'll give it a thumbs up for the cheap price. It's an interesting little horror themes game where you play as a parasite taking over a human body. It's pretty rough though. The combat is really jank and honestly just a mouse click spam fest. The atmosphere is the only thing carrying the game really. The final chapter is also a drastic tone shift, in a way I'm not sure everyone would like. The game goes from uncanny, to feeling like a parody/joke game in the final chapter with references and jokes about things like real streamers. If that sounds interesting to you, go for it. It's a short experience, and cheap, so won't cost you much time or money. Just know it's very rough and has some strange tonal shifts.

I'm unsure where all the negative chinese reviews came from, as this game doesn't support mandarin nor is it bad. The english isn't perfect: there are some errors here and there, but it's not that bad. It hurts the game a little, but not a ton. I think the third chapter has a much lighter tone than the rest of the game. Which kind of caught-me-off-guard, but i think it worked surprisingly well. Overall, i thought it was quite nice. Worth checking-out.

Has nothing to offer besides a cool visual style. Completely falls apart at the end. First time playthrough: 22 minutes 100% Completion time: 43 minutes 4/10

Very short but fun game. The gameplay isn't super engaging - you pretty much just spam click all over the screen - but it's a great little snippet of a cosmic horror story in the same vein stylistically as Who's Lila?

If you like surrealist horror and absurdism, then I'd recommend this. One thing to point out, there are lot of frantic clicking sections that require quickly timed cursor precision. Insaniquarium veterans shouldn't have any issues.

This game is equal parts body horror and humour over some old monster movie tropes. And I love it. Really fun, strange experience. It was great.
