Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 17 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Good walking sim game with interesting environments
Museum of Monoliths is an interesting if not relatively simplistic (graphically, aesthetically, mechanically) liminal experience that demonstrates the fact that not all liminal experiences need resemble the backrooms. Fortunately, what MoM lacks in visual complexity it makes up for with a truly impressive series of seemingly interactive soundscapes. Nevertheless, I definitely did not feel like i was "creating my own unique sound" for each of the "abstract locations". It just seemed like different sounds would dominate my (in-game) hearing based on my location within any particular level. To put it plainly, the closer i stood to certain sound-emanating objects/areas, the louder they were...like in the real world. To state that one is creating their own sound within the game would be the same as saying "i adjust the volume of my radio by moving further/closer to my ear" or "i create my own sound when i listen to the tv and the radio at the same time by physically standing in between them". I understand that different tracks are added according to which monolith one selects but unless one plays through the game more than once (although i did feel that my choices had more of a profound effect on the soundscape of the red desert level with the cyberpunk donut in the sky), it would be difficult to tell. In this regard, i felt that devs really missed the opportunity to make the selection of each monolith (aka additional track) more profound and apparent. Despite these flaws and the arguably misleading advertising, i enjoyed the experience - especially the breathtakingly beautiful visuals of the final level. However, i do not think that folks looking for a musical or spatial-sound-editing experience should expect much from this title. p.s. the giant robot romance was a nice, if inexplicable, touch.

It's a very cool game with a unique and interesting concept and a great atmosphere. Despite being short, it's definitely worth the price.
The sound design of this game is incredible. Traversing the weird landscapes of the monoliths doesn't seem that scary, just weird, but adding the unsettling soundtracks that you can alter to some degree? It's downright unsettling. I feel like there's so many layers of meaning here, and I'll need more time to process and unpack it. I obtained it on sale, but it's only a few dollars so worth the hour of great dark ambient music and creepy but beautifully designed environments.
