Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 4 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Game is incredibly boring and repetitive and the voice acting is subpar. i'd only get this when it is in on extreme discount sale, otherwise avoid it.
This is a game to play for the story, and not really the gameplay. It’s a detective game with a supernatural twist, you are a ghost. I didn’t find it particularly scary, but it had a creepy atmosphere. Spectres stare at you from a distance and wink out of existence as you approach. Ghostly graffiti daubs the walls. The design of the demons is very well done too. In terms of negatives, there are a number. The basic gameplay is simple, with most of it being exploration to pick up notes or other things of interest, and very simple detective gameplay. This normally consists of finding clues in the environment, interacting with them and then making deductions or connections. These are selected from multiple choice. The game appears to give you 3 attempts before failing these, I literally never failed one as they were all simple. Still, I did enjoy the detective gameplay, even if simple, as it propelled the story forward. You run around the town of Salem and various different areas. Amusingly there are some not very well explained rules about consecrated buildings and “ghost walls” to explain why you can’t just walk through everything since you are non corporeal. There is combat and stealth though, and by God is it awful. You have to hide from demons via a very basic stealth system, with hiding spots and basic breaking line of site. You then run up behind the demons to banish them, by way of a quick time event. If you fail it or get caught then you have to have another round of crappy stealth to hid from them, or die and get thrown back to a checkpoint. Fortunately combat/stealth is not the main focus of the game, and in later encounters I was able to run past the demons without much fuss to bypass most of the encounter. Graphically it’s not brilliant, but not terrible for a game from 2014. As mentioned it has a good atmosphere, which really helps sell the game. It ran fine for me at 120 frames on 4k (on a 4090 not surprising). Unfortunately all the cutscenes and many of the dialogue sections are locked at 30 frames, and the cutscenes are all rendered at what appears to be 720p, and there are a lot of them, so they look worse than the gameplay. This is an issue that plagues many games from this era. Some like Mass Effect have modders that work to upscale the cutscenes, but Soul Suspect being a rather forgotten game, no such option exists here. Storyline wise then, it’s not revolutionary, and fairly cliched, but I enjoyed it still, with the aforementioned atmosphere and some good twists and turns. The main character, Ronan, is a cliché, with a criminal past (somehow rather implausibly his brother in law seems to have snuck him on the force), loads of tattoos and a dead wife. He comes across as a bit thick, and I anticipated some of the twists before it became obvious to him but he is a likeable enough main character. The other characters are interesting or likeable enough, such as the teenage medium Ronan has to team up with to solve the case. There aren’t any choices to make in the game, you propel the story forward in a linear fashion and it’s fairly short, taking me around 11 and a half hours to complete the story and pick up most of the notes and collectibles. I did enjoy my time with the game, despite it’s many flaws, as to it’s credit the focus really is the story. If it sounds interesting and you can look past the flaws, I would recommend it when it’s on sale.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

es un juego policiaco muy divertido y atrapante, para los que le gustan los puzzles y los casos policiales, es entretenido
the story is great and i absolutely love the atmosphere. the game is $20 so if you don't mind paying $3.33 cents per hour of story you'll be getting (~6) i'd otherwise get it on sale
A Ghost Detective Thriller Worth Playing

Rating: 8/10
Murdered: Soul Suspect is an ambitious and atmospheric detective adventure that offers a truly unique story and a gripping narrative. This game is all about the great story by delivering a mystery that keeps you hooked from its opening moments to its dramatic conclusion. Strengths: The Haunting Narrative The story of Ronan O'Connor is the clear winner. The mystery is compelling, filled with unexpected twists and turns, and the emotional stakes for Ronan are genuinely high. The core concept of playing as a ghost detective is innovative, making the investigative sections feel fresh and engaging. The overall atmosphere is good, effectively mixing the spooky, historic setting of Salem (city) with the eerie reality of the 'ghost world.' However, while the graphics and concept are good, they aren't great; the execution sometimes feels slightly uneven. Weaknesses: Glitches and the Frustration of Missing Pieces Unfortunately, the game suffers from a lack of technical polish. There are some glitches while moving that can disrupt the otherwise strong immersion. Furthermore, while the atmosphere is solid, the experience felt like it was missing some great music that could have elevated the emotional and tense moments. The most frustrating problem is for players who like to 100% everything: the game has a ton of achievements you can miss, and there is no way to go back and replay chapters once you complete the game. You can find the collectibles between the stories, which is the only way for now. Please follow a guide.
Time?
Took about 10-11 hours for Story and around 14.5 hours for 100%
Final Verdict
Murdered: Soul Suspect shines because of its brilliant story and unique concept. It creates a rich, moody world and tells a memorable detective tale. If you can forgive the small technical issues and a lack of a replay system, you will find a mystery that is highly recommended and well worth solving. This game was the hidden gem I needed to satisfy my urge for more detective games! The characters are wonderful - especially Ronan, gah damn. The story twisted and fun. Maybe the running from A to B to C to A is a little stretchy sometimes. But overall a very solid, entertaining experience.
AMEI!
Good story and side missions but enemy DEMONS are very stupid and UNBEATABLE they kill me almost allways I dont know probably bug in my game ... without this Demons and a litlle bit heavier puzzles this game will be perfect ... refunded ...
