What can I do with the Player Edition?
You can join games hosted by other players (as long as there are available guest seats) and participate fully in their sessions. However, this edition does not allow you to create your own online multiplayer sessions or design maps.
What is a guest seat?
The Player Edition of Multiverse Designer allows a player to join games created by an owner of any of the Multiverse Designer Game Master Edition DLCs. When a player with the Player Edition joins a game, one of the available Game Master's guest seats will be occupied. If there are no more guest seats available, it will not be possible for the player to join the session. Game Master editions owners can join a game without using a guest seat.
A Practical Example
Suppose Freddie bought the game with 4 guest seats. He starts a network game. John, Paul, George, and Ringo only have the Player Edition; they log in and start playing. Suddenly, John needs to leave, but he calls Mr. Dickinson to join. Mr. Dickinson also has only the Player Edition, but John's guest seat is now available, so Mr. Dickinson can take it for himself. Now, another friend of theirs, Mr. Jagger, tries to join with the Player Edition. Alas, he's denied entry because Freddie is using all four of his guest seats. But Mr. Jagger really wants to join the game, so he goes and buys a Game Master Edition DLC. Now he doesn't count as a guest, so he can immediately join the game.

Nice concept, however I was unable to save because it said I had 50 items in my scene, I had 7. all from the tutorial which was grueling. I would not recommend.
You need a master Degree to use it.. This is far from being User Friendly to be honest.
Multiverse Designer is, unfortunately, one of the most disappointing design tools I have ever encountered. While it presents an ambitious concept and visually acceptable building models, almost every aspect of its execution falls drastically short of professional standards. The controls are exceptionally poor — unintuitive, unresponsive, and rigidly designed. The lack of customization options makes it impossible to adjust or improve the user experience, resulting in constant frustration during even the simplest actions. The building system is another major flaw. Structures must be created block by block, a process so impractical and inefficient that it renders meaningful construction nearly impossible. Despite the models looking passable at first glance, there is virtually nothing of substance that can be done with them once placed. The GUI feels severely outdated, reminiscent of software interfaces from the early 2000s — cluttered, confusing, and utterly lacking in modern usability standards. Navigating through menus or attempting to access core functions often feels like guesswork rather than design work. Equally disappointing are the terrain and object editing tools, which provide almost no real interactivity. Instead of being able to freely manipulate terrain or assets as one would expect from a design tool, the user is left merely to observe static elements that should have been fully editable. To make matters worse, the application suffers from severe stability issues — attempting to place assets frequently results in fatal errors, abruptly terminating the session and causing loss of progress. Given these issues, Multiverse Designer cannot be recommended under any circumstance. It lacks functionality, polish, and reliability to such an extent that it feels more like a prototype than a finished product. Rather than charging users for access, the developers should arguably compensate anyone willing to endure the experience of using this application. Final Verdict: 0/10 — a profoundly frustrating and incomplete tool that fails to deliver on every front.
I think this is a cool platform with lots of potential for tabletop and cinematics. I want the team to succeed in making it everything they know it can be.
