very fun and addictive. it runs on steamdeck tooo

Too grindy, too confusing, and most of all does not reward your effort or time. Most of your time will be spent trying to get up a hill at 4mph (I'm dead serious) with the engine overheating. The tutorial only teaches you how to do the most basic menial tasks that are unrewarding and have no sense of progress, the guides explain some alien game that the developers seem to be incapable of relaying to you, there's an allure of some game with economy and progress, but the level of slow and tiring banal gameplay does not motivate you to ever reach it.
This is hands down THE best multiplayer transport and logistics game in existance, period. In comparison to other trucking, taxi and bus games (you know wich ones)here the main goal is not just driving unchallenged from point a to point b, but instead you have to co operate and manage resources. Also you got to plan routes and cargospace along the way. Not just a pont a to b complete load but multiple drop offs and pickups. I could write an essay about how good this is but intead i keep it short, IT IS FANTASTIC!
This game has a lot of potential, but it has some serious flaws. #1. This game plays like a game designed by a person who has never driven a car or any type of vehicle. The physics are simply wonky at BEST. Somehow, this game turns driving 40 mph down a slightly curvy road into a completely terrifying experience! You're almost tipping over, understeering, etc. It feels like a major challenge to drive down the road at normal speeds. Just try putting 2 crates in the back of a small truck (tied down). It will be the most tippy experience of your life! #2. This game needs a map editor BADLY. The only map is rather boringly built. There's only a few major roads, two major cities and just a few main connector roads. Most of the driving is simply bland. I've been playing for 50+ hours and it gets very repetitive. If players could make their own levels (which shouldnt be hard given the graphics of this game) it would be massively improved. #3. Cars burn fuel at a completely unrealistic rate. The world is to actual scale, so you will be driving many miles between cities. However, the cars seem to get about 1 mile per gallon. There's very limited fuel stations and you're constantly running low of fuel. For a game trying to be somewhat realistic, this is junk. You need to constantly worry about running out of fuel and it takes some of the fun out of the game. #4. As of this writing, there's basically no endgame. The beginning of the game is very fun as you level up and unlock new cars, jobs, etc. However, once you've done this, there's basically nothing else to do. Currently, the endgame activity that makes the most money is transporting fuel with contracts. There's simply no other way to make nearly as much money. All other forms of money making are inferior and this is just poor balance. It would be cool to transport containers, tow cars, deliver pizza etc. but it always comes down to fuel being the most money for time spent, by FAR. #5. They put out the halloween event after halloween was totally over. This is just lame. #6. Offroading is extremely unfun. In other games like Forza Horizons or Mudrunner etc. offroading is very fun. Here it feels the opposite. Your vehicle is constantly stuck or spinning and you are terrified of running out of fuel. #7. The achievements are super grindy and there's a really bad one. The really bad one is "Get a 0.0 reaction time at the drag strip." The top drag racers in the world don't get a 0.0 reaction time. This is pure junk. The only way to do it is to accelerate before the drag light turns green, it's just really bad design. There's also other super grindy achievements like "deliver 5000" garbage . A typical garbage truck run might hold 30 bags of trash and take 10-15 min to do. Another is do 500 drag strip runs, another is drive 10k km (keep in mind the game scale is 1:1) in a single vehicle. Deliver 10000 cargo... If you are an achievement hunter, you may want to stay away or face a horrible grind. #8. The racing just feels wrong. The cars barely turn at any type of speed. You can drive cars that are clearly copies of porsches and lamborghinis and they struggle to turn at ALL on tight corners going like 50 mph. Once again, the physics here don't feel right. On the positive side. this game is pretty fun for the price. It's got a developer that is constantly (but slowly) making free updates for it. It usually gets slightly better every patch, but frankly it just has a lot of flaws that keep me from recommending this game. It also has a free demo where you can try it out so you don't have to take my word for it. If you decide to buy it, you keep your progress on the demo which is a nice touch. Just be sure to try out a racetrack or driving a small pickup truck with 2 boxes in the back to get the tippy experience first! Note: I hope that this game gets better and they improve the economy to where hauling fuel isn't the only good option. Also, i played this single player, I'm sure it is more fun with friends.
I recommend Motor Town: Behind The Wheel, it's a game where there are cars, and you can drive them, among other things. There's so much on offer for $20, the vehicle tuning is very meaningful, the way you can color and apply decals to your cars is very emblem-editor-like in terms of what you can accomplish, and the cars just look good while driving around, I've taken so many screenshots of my truck and trailer. I will also preface the below with the fact I played using mouse and keyboard, this is a driving game you can play with mouse and keyboard! The progression of going from the humble kei-truck to the 100-ton triple-trailer road-train is great, and there's good reason to own and drive all different size of trucks, you will most likely regret selling any vehicle, they're all handy for something and each car has a distinct feel to it, even when comparing apparently very similar vehicles. The supply chain mechanic is very much like Open TTD, but the roads are all built and you drive the trucks & buses, or you can use your company to setup AI drivers to handle the less interesting or rewarding routes, either to boost the town bonus %, or to supply industries you want to ship more complex cargo from. When you want a change of pace, the taxi system turns the entire island into a race, especially with urgent passengers, it's quite the accomplishment to drive fast enough to get full score for those, and it's a great excuse to actually drive your really fast, well-tuned cars. Lastly, the offroading is real and pretty educational--you WILL learn what a lockable diff means in practice! Eventually you'll just start asking yourself "Would it be faster if I simply... drove in a straight line?" and then suddenly everything needs decent offroad capabilities. I will also praise the physics system, while I have yet to make a car do a wheelie as a consequence of how the physics works, I did recently see a driver do something moronic in real life, then lose control of their vehicle before fishtailing off the road, and it looked pretty much exactly how it looked when I do that in Motor Town. Otherwise, the game as a whole just really wants you to be able to drive cars, and there's a lot of little systems in place to facilitate that. The autopilot especially deserves a shout out, it's great for getting up for a little break during a long haul.
Makes my PC super hot. Bad optimization. All while not looking good, very little environmental detail, uses well-known 3D assets, no uniqueness...
I think it's actually unironically a great game. There's a surprising depth of play, logistics system, driving physics and customisation. The graphics are all at once cartoonish and endearing while sometimes just making you thing *wow this really pretty stuff.* I think it's worth it. I really wish there were more life simulator games geared somewhere in this niche. I hope this goes far.
Bardzo fajne, można przy 320km\h uderzyć w ciężarówkę innego gracza i wystrzelić ją na orbite
Was sceptical at first but this is a really fun driving/logistics sim game; Wish the map was bigger
