It's an artwork. Love the perspective and story. I see people talking about it being a trilogy, I have no idea... I will check it out after I write this. I only played this game and as a standalone game it got a good story.
Jogo de terror psicologico com narrativa. Muito bom pra um jogo com um gráfico bizarro, gostei bastante até. Muito Bom.

This game is very much not for the faint-hearted. I was frankly very impressed at how effectively this game builds steady tension and an overwhelming sense of unease with very minimal animation, relying heavily on sound effects and subtle hints in the narrative that make you begin to realise that something is Not Right. I was a little lost finding the "true ending" and do think that could've been signposted a bit more effectively, but I am also just impatient with these things and it probably stands to the game's horror prowess that I was so desperate for it to be over.
What the actual ♥♥♥♥. I love it.
Mothered is a sequel of the enigma machine trilogy that I didn't expect to like this much, the story was something that got me off guard, it follows Liana that after a surgery her family decided to bring her home to recover from it but, after arriving home something feels off, it seem home but doesn't feels like it, at from that, everything start to unravel, the story it's the best part of this game, creepy and scary in the right way, the gameplay is a lot more simple that the enigma machine it's more similar to a visual novel were you need to do certain actions to continue the story that is spread out to a week time, each day with four different times of the day, it's pretty simple not a lot to say, some things are difficult to understand but usually the game tells you what to do, the graphics is really good, the effects and lighting are really impressive and the uncanny valley look of everything is still impressed in my mind for how unsettling was everything in that game, from the sound to the faces to the whole atmosphere that this game has. In the end the game is really scary, not only with the atmosphere and unsettling scenarios but with the story, dialogue and overallhl hell that the whole cast of character is living in this game, the whole trilogy I would recommend, it's pretty solid and I love most of the games in this collection.
Whelp. It was a pretty cool experience for a while. Unfortunately, I was softlocked out of my ending for an unknown reason. Everywhere I looked, no solutions. Watching another person playthrough, their ending was triggered at the exact spot mine was supposed to, mine just didn't work. Super unfortunate because I was enjoying the game up until that. Now I'm left looking up the endings to the game instead of playing it myself. The previous game in the trilogy had problems, but at least I could finish it. This has just made me frustrated. Onto the next one I suppose.
I can't say much about the gameplay but for me there is no way to exit the game other than to use the windows button and have Steam close the app... both this game and the following game Echostasis have the same issue which is just not something I can look past... for this game. Also not sure why but the game runs my computer like my computer owes the game money, fans going all haywire, like I know it's a horror game but the real horror would be this game destroying my graphics card and having to buy a new one.. going to uninstall and not gonna risk it.
Herausragend 9/10
ich bin open minded, aber ich will gar nicht erst versuchen zu erklären, warum ich das nicht weiter empfehle. positives: Sound Design, Musik, Story ist ok und es gab teilweise stellen die ganz "mind blowing" waren (aha Momente).
