Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 13 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
If you go into the game without expectations, it's a fun time. None of the factions have much of a story, and the matches are extremely slow paced, but the combat system is rigorous enough to be interesting and the different factions satisfy a variety of tastes. It is also a gorgeous game for the era of graphics that it comes from, and is genuinely dripping with atmosphere.
I know this is a cult favorite, but unless you 1. already know the rules 2. are willing to deal with the bonkers controls 3. have real people and not the soulless CPU to play with regularly This is a hard pass. Sure, given a dozen hours I could probably figure out the mechanics a lot better than the scant tutorials, but the reality is that Mordheim is a miniatures game and not a video game. You're supposed to kitbash your own rag-tag team, and laugh or scream with your friends when the dice inevitably swing one way. This game gets kudos for being slavishly faithful to the tabletop game, but honestly it makes for a terrible video game.

This game is garbage. Seriously 2/10. I assume the reviews are padded or by loyal fans of Games Workshop that don't care if the game is any good. 1) The interface is cumbersome. You have to cycle through each attack, parry, reload, stance, etc, option without hotkeys (you use A, D to cycle through). You spend the whole time cycling around to find the selection you want. 2) You can't see anyone's hit points above the target or in the turn order (the logical places). Instead you have to mouse over and press a special button. Its a game that clearly relies on ganking and yet you cant figure out which is the focused target. You cant label them either like WoW-Raid Markers. Finally you its hard to go by name since they all have Germanic names that are all similar like "Nipple Von Skidmark. 3) The positioning is hysterically bad. Often you cant get by a guy on a stair or a passage. The models have some radius you cant move around but its not shown. You just have to guess and then get a surprise. The positioning also fizzles when you have people too close together.... it will tell you the model "has no options" because he is too close to the other guy!??!?! 4) Its super hard to figure out these ridiculously little "hot spots" where you need to go to climb or jump. Often the terrain isnt clear if you want walk over it or not. You can run up to a spot only to find out you can't go over, under or around something..... and then you are stuck and have to go back! 5) Lastly the percent chances shown are highly misleading. The are not the actual "to hit" chances as they do not account for the defence, stance, etc. of the opponent. You have to figure that out on your own which begs the question why the developer put it there in the first place. Not recommended unless you have played every other game on the market and have nothing better to do.
Difficult, challenging and unforgiving. You have to play with a plant but very aligned to the original rules set. recommended to all.
Meh, it had great potential but was too rough with atrociously bad design choices, too much reliance on RNG and deliberately unbalanced mechanics in some cases for fake difficulty instead of strategy and planning. Wish it was good, it's okay, but functionally it was abandoned by the devs before being really finished.
There is a big learning curve for the mechanics. But man! I love this game it awards being patience and will punish you harshly for recklessness.
Ton of RNG and the worst UI I've seen in a while.
Is this even a game? Its so slow it reminded me of a collection of photos trying to be a RTS...so painfully slow. The game has huge maps and then puts both teams on top of each other at the start, I replayed the first mission a dozen times trying to enjoy this game. The graphics and concept were nice, I'm sure im just not meta enough of a player to be good enough to get to the second level.
This is one of those conflicted up thumbs. Mordheim is not perfect. It has flaws. It has issues. It is also the only game I'm aware of that lets you play with Skaven as the main characters though, and I love my rat boys, so that's enough. The setting of the game is fascinating, and while most of the missions are procedurally generated, there are some that advance your warband's narrative that are hand crafted, and the mix between the two make for quite a grand experience. My only real gripe is that most of the skills in the level up system seem like not just a waste of skill points (metaprogression) but a waste of action points in game as well, especially at low levels. Be sure to read through all the passive skill pages before you buy an active one, IMO most of the passives just outperform on account that they're free power.
