Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.

Reviews
I never played Moonlighter 1, and only have experience with Recettear (long ago) in this genre, so I'm reviewing the game on its own merits. You spend about 90% of your time going on procedurally generated "dungeon dives" and about 10% on selling the relics you find and buying upgrades to improve your experience. And that's really about it. The combat is smooth and fun, and there are multiple weapons you can choose to change things up. Enemy variety is somewhat limited, though I didn't mind much. The shop keeping plays second fiddle to the combat and I ended up seeing it as just another task to complete rather than being fun or interesting. After about 25 hours, the game began to seem tedious rather than fun, and I'll probably only play it sporadically going forward. I got the game for $20 and that feels like a good value for what it offers. This game is competently put together, but can become tedious after a while.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Recommended. Perplexity wrote this because I was busy not having cancer anymore. Moonlighter 2 fixed me. Oncologist said “skill issue.” I said “have you tried the dungeon.” Doctor’s dead now. I’m crafting potions. 10/10 would relapse for DLC.
A great and worthy successor to the first one, highly recommend you pick this one up.
very fun gameplay with shopkinging and meta progression
Digital Sun managed to uphold core concepts and completely redesign Moonlighter. You will find yourself torn between a plethora of fun and rewarding ways to progress through the game. This is an amazing sequel.
A mix of multiple games, The fun comes from the hades like-gameplay and backpack management to get the most of the items from your bag in terms of value, then you use the shop to sell these items, like a shopkeeper game (Shop titans/Saleblazers/Supermarket), upgrade gear etc. Wasn't expecting this to be that great.
A really good sequel, I love how they made the gameplay loop tighter. I really hope that they add more dungeons in the next update/dlc. Combat is good but could be better, I just don't like how they projectile spam and the height detection is sometimes wonky. 8/10 - Would play again on hardcore mode
hay come here. (its free realistate.) no for real tho dont listen to those comments that say this game is not a sequal or its bad this dosent do that buggy there oooh its soul less now cause its 3d. really what the hell? its soul less cause its 3d? point is. this is a -real- reveiw ok. this game dose continue what the first game set. and it dose it well. iv ben playing it and supporting it since the beginning here to. sure the flow is abit different but the soul of this game is still there. you wana game where your not focusing just on liveing and fighting. but allso the items your grabbing and trying to value max them to make the most profit? this is your game. trust me. the characters and the story and the game play its nice. i wont lie i have crashed a couple times but thats. actually my fault. the game couldn't handle how fast i was 'hiting' a enemy. cause i kinda lucked out here for these times lol. point is. its got nice progression and its quite fun.. and im suuure in the future we will get alot more features to. point is tho this is about the now. how is the game now? hows it run well. it runs great. it plays great the areas you can go to really mix it up. and you trick out your load out as you progress improving it more and more like your shop and meny other things. a good game should not be judged by how it looks. this game started out small in the begining they had big plans for it. and i truely feel this is what they wanted for it there still working on it and honistly we got a good thing here so far. so i highly recommend. cause if you think its easy put it on the hardest difficulty. i dare you do it. i wish we had more games like this honistly cause this game is one of those games i play every where. and alot.
This game is absolutely beautiful. The mechanics are very well thought out and enjoyable, so much charm. :) Do yourself a favor and pick this one up!
