Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Sep 8 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Ive got like 200+ hours on the switch version and im playing it again. Stories in general is a great spin off and imo this is the best of the 3 so. good game, often dirt cheap too but worth every penny

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 24: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

The game is much more enjoyable than MH:Stories 1 in terms of gameplay. Everything is faster and easier—combat, using items, moving around the map, leveling up. Finally, you can teleport from anywhere. It was enjoyable to follow the story. But the game really lets down at one thing—its XP system. Killing a regular monster on the map earns you 10 XP at the end of the fight. What? So maybe there's more XP from quests in this game, and you have to do them? No, I'm looking at the quests, and they give you 20 XP. So maybe this game is about killing large monsters? They do give a little more XP, but nothing special. And the fact that you don't get XP for doing anything makes doing those things pointless. This killed the exploration for me. I had no desire to explore at all, wandering around maps or exploring caves, and just followed the main storyline. During the game, I made a rule: if I saw a monster, I killed it – so I wouldn't fall behind too much and kept gaining XP. This, of course, meant a huge number of mini-boss fights, as there are plenty of them in this game. I finished the game at level 39, which isn't bad, because (according to the internet) most players finished at levels 37-43, so my score was average, and so was the game's difficulty – the fights throughout the game were difficult only in a few places (I had to replay some because I lost three lives), but overall, it wasn't bad. Also, there's "fast-kill" option in this game, but you have to be 5-10 level over monsters to use this but 1) I have no idea what is monster's level, 2) you would have to grind really hard first (really boring) region to have this XP cushion and to have auto-kills so I didn't do it even though it would mayyybe fix my biggest downside of the game I used this system literally 1 time at the end of the game, because you have to go to 3 locations then and you pass by low-level regions so I stumbled on low-level monster and it was literally 1 situation in entire game that I used this; FACEPALM Besides the XP system, the biggest downside for me, and something I have to mention, is another mute protagonist. A protagonist who doesn't speak is so idiotic that I can't even stand it anymore. I hate it. The main character shouts something at the end of the game, so he can speak. Was it that hard to speak the entire game? It's idiotic.
This is what creature collector games should be. Already owned and beat it on the vastly superior ps5 but bought it again so I could do co-op on pc with my husband. Great game though I reccomend buying it on sale because capcom wants to milk them titties as much as possible and they feel the need to charge the maximum new game price for all of their games regardless of how old they are.
l'aventure, le combat tour par tour, les cinématiques franchement ce jeu est vraiment bien
Superb game I loved it towards the end the fights were intense can't wait to play mhs 3
Good Storyline, Worth the time. Highly Recommended for JRPG
Not that fun of a rock-paper-scissor style RPG. The story isn't interesting and the battles get old. The collecting aspect is fun I suppose but it's not enough to interest me. It's also missing cool aspects from the first game like the monsters changing color based on their elemental strengths. Multiplayer is pretty barebones.
